Delighted Brendan Rodgers gave Tom Rogic such high praise at his pre-match media conference ahead of the longest surviving Glasgow derby. He’s is a player who put enormous effort into personal development and was rewarded with outstanding form before his injury in December.
A word of caution, though. It took Tom several months before his fitness was deemed appropriate to last a full 90 minutes by Brendan Rodgers, so no matter how long we see Tom tonight, this will be no more than a staging post in his recovery. Don’t expect him to be anywhere near his best.
There is little reason to deny Emilio Izaguirre and Cristian Gamboa a run out tonight. Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney have both had a busy few weeks, so should be rested with important games ahead later this month.
Brendan doesn’t have many options in advanced positions. Without Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths he will probably deploy the same attacking formation as the one which deconstructed Hearts on Sunday.
If they do their job half as well as they did at Tynecastle, you and I could play in central defence and we’d still win.

Article by Sergio Leone…
BMCUWP ‘s post on last page of previous article re Auldheid’s demolition of same club nonsense on e-tims worthy of a repost. Forensically repudiates nonsense spouted by Head’s “journalist”. Will leave it to BMCUWP to repost link. Article worthy of print out and distribution. HH
Gamboa, Kouassi and Aitchison for Lustig, Brown and Forrest
Where is Paul`s article on Rogic ???
OK It has appeared now !!
Welcome all the frustrated keyboard/pad/phone/ipad screen thumpers with the high blood pressure who couldn’t work out how to access the comments but kept seeing the name ‘Sandman on ‘ racking up under latest comments.
Like now, again…
And again.
Damn, like getting kept out of a secret society…

Is Tom included in the squad for tonight`s game?
JJ
And now the prediction – a show from the champs tonight and a 4-0 pumping for the jags.
Sincy on fire, first scorer.
This will be remembered and referenced back with amusement as the day of ‘The Article With No Name’.

Ease big Tom back in and tune him up to vanquish the Hun urchins once and for all at Hampden.
Being linked by Romanian midfielder Ovidiu Popescu from Steaua Bucharest, 23 year old midfielder. Story seems to have been leaked by Steaua owner no doubt trying to generate a bidding war.
So,team for tonight, if CQN selects, could be:
Bailly
Gamboa Simunovic Boyata Izaguirre
Roberts, Kouassi , Armstrong, Rogic, Sinclair.
Gordon.
Hmmmm..
The blog with no name!
Afternoon bump http://celticbynumberscom.ipage.com/hearts-0-celtic-5-by-numbers/
Tierney and Brown definitely need rests- both evidence regressed performances over last 4 games. Sinclair in rude health following 2 week rest. Lustig doing ok but Gamboa improving and deserves a run
HH
Hot smoked
That looks like a Pedro selected 11.
Gordon
Gamboa Jozo Boyata KT
McGregor Kouassi Armstrong
Roberts Aitchison Sinclair
getting Tam Rogic fit again for the business end of the season is now the key for the European qualifiers in the summer.
He was without my vote for Player of the Year before Darren O Dea (he of the headlock fame..) decided to put him out of the game for the best part of 4 months on December 17th last year..
Good afternoon all.
Thanks again to all of you posted well wishes for my new wife and I. The wedding was a fantastic day and everything went off without a hitch…well…I got hitched but you know what I mean.
For those of you wondering; there were no puns in my speech :)

BIG GEORGE FAN CLUB,
Being a wrinkly, I’ve never heard of the group Blackberry Smoke.
Your photo’s are amazing quality, I wouldn’t know how to post a photo on a computer.
Looking at the “Blackberry Bhoys and their long hair etc”, reminds me of how I looked in the early 1970’s “….ah the feckin memories of having a comb ”

Hi HEBCELT – and thanks!
Hello this is WEE BGFC. Over the years, me and Da would have probably missed about 15 games if it weren’t for this site and the magnificent tims on it. I thank you all whole-heartedly! We owe you all huners!!

Dunno how many have been listening to Brendan Rodgers; not many it seems. He has said consistently over the last week or so that he will not be taking a foot off the gas, or changing the team till <b.AFTER the Scottish Cup Semi-Final. he has stated that we “need to go into the game with momentum”.
So I expect a very similar team as we had on Sunday unless there are any niggles or injuries. We have Thistle tonight, Ayrshire huns on Saturday and a trip to Dingwall next Sunday before the semi; it will be familiar names on the team-sheet until then I think, with Rogic, Dembele and Griffiths getting eased in; maybe Erik too.
Same starters as Sunday.
Just my opinion.

“A word of caution, though. It took Tom several months before his fitness was deemed appropriate to last a full 90 minutes by Brendan Rodgers”
I take it ‘several’ in this instance means June and July seeing as Tom played a full 90mins four times before the end of August ;P
Glad to see him back in the squad though.
Always play the strongest team possible imo but I feel a wee tweak here and there might be best for the whole team ahead of last piece in the treble jigsaw.

Be careful with your choice of vocabulary……HUNers ?
I admire your tenacity in ensuring that you get to see the Celtic wherever they play in Scotland. You and your da deserve all the help you get from CQN.
Hail ! Hail !
