CELTIC hitkid Luke Donnelly could be in line for a dramatic debut in the Hoops’ title run-in.
Assistant boss John Collins has already stated some of the experienced players can expect to be rested for the last two games against St.Johnstone on Friday in Perth and Inverness Caley Thistle at Parkhead on May 24.   .
Donnelly, 19, pushed his claims for an appearance with a devastating four-goal display in the 6-0 win over Hibs in the Scottish Youth Cup semi-final during the week.
He said: “I’m feeling great and it was a great performance.

“We knew the win was the most important thing, but to play like we did and show that level of performance was excellent and, obviously, to get four goals is brilliant.

“We believed in ourselves and we knew if we attacked and pressed and had intensity then I thought we could get at Hibs.”

Ronny Deila has received a report on the versatile youngster, who can play in midfield and attack, and he could now be involved in the squad before the end of the campaign.
