I haven’t checked my facts here, so I could be wrong, but I reckon the last time we scored seven goals (against St Mirren) we lost the very next game (against the same opposition). If we can deduce anything from this two point observation it is that teams rebounding from an embarrassing defeat are more dangerous than teams on the crest of a great result.
Celtic will have been flowing in training this week whereas Motherwell will have re-examined every aspect of their club, team and tactics after their cup exit to Albion Rovers. If we produce a similar performance and result to the one we achieved at Tynecastle last week it will be an outstanding achievement.
Would like to see Biton and Mulgrew play in similar central roles tonight.
Many thanks to those who bid on the charity auction for lunch at Cinc Sentis in Barcelona. Highest bid is currently £82, if you’re going out next week, treat yourself………
“The question though is why the near obsession for the club’s history?
I don’t think there is a need for me to repeat the already well-trodden road of our club’s history and culture. In my opinion, I feel that it centres on the roots of the club……. that the club was formed to serve a community but grew to be far much more than that. It’s not about a business, a result, customers or a tournament. We view it as people with the supporters at its heart, something that is being lost at most other large clubs.”

I though that I had in the sentence you quoted back. I did not hear a Labour politician condemning the oppression of the people in the Soviet block. Maybe they did but I am only relating my impression.
Does it not grate with anyone else on here that we as a nation are forcebly requested to participate in minutes silences/applauds etc for public figures.
It does my head in all this public mass grievance crap.
minutes silences/applauds at football matches should be solely for those with assciation to their respective clubs.
Diana – No
Queen Mother – No
Mandela – No
No matter the merrits or not of each individuals public life.
It seems we cannot pay our respects now-a-days without it having to be a public, look at me, I’m grieving too nonsense.

Jings, they kept that quiet.
Father why are you so sad on this December day???
Well son we don’t have a striker.
Well dad, way back when when thicko’s like me were pointing out the obvious to all the know it all on here, who want to know what your point is and then present inane statistics and spastic facts to counter the convention that any successful club needs a striker who actually puts the ball in the net (come on you dildos call yourself Celtic Supporters) Why not sign a Pole dancer?
Striker?
Money to Charity?
How does one spell ambition??????
How does one spell lets take the absolute PISS out of every club in Scotland except us?
How do we spell bigotry again?
Lord hear my prayer…

I’m not attacking you or criticising your opinions. I’m only interested in how you came to form them.
Would it be fair to say that you were relying on what we now call the MSM for information?

“Celtic boss Neil Lennon has revealed the club are hoping to take Japanese star Hiroki Yamada on trial.”
Hiroki Yamada is innocent.
Free, free Hiroki Yamada….
Princess Diana is not dead….she’s just resting
Hiroki Yamada (山田 大記 Yamada Hiroki?, born 27 December 1988 in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka) is a Japanese football player playing for Júbilo Iwata.[1] He is known for having a very powerful and accurate shot from outside of the box.
No nonsense wikipedia entry on young Hiroki there. I wonder if it’s been translated from Japanese, or that if really is all there is to say about him?
MWD…
Great post!
There are great people who have died for which there was no public minutes silence or applause.
My Mum and Dad did more in their lives than some of the chancers whose demise we’ve been forced to respect in football grounds.
I’ll tell their story on hear one day….a minutes applause wouldn’t be long enough.
God bless and keep you Mum and Dad.

Friday, 06 December 2013 13:30 An Open Letter From The ( huns ) Chairman David Somers…
‘I have now read over two years of board minutes and they make very depressing reading in terms of the scale of their lack of professionalism and worse. The minutes make it clear, in my mind, that the boards of recent years have been totally unfit to run this club. The mystery to me is why people should now be considering that members of these boards, which presided over the problems we face today, should be considered for re-election. Although I have learned one lesson, which is that if you shout long enough and loud enough in the media, you may be able to reinvent yourself.’
( so where does that leave Stockbridge and the Esdale’s?
oh the iron on A in the last paragraph).

————————————————————————————————
Certainly not.
Although I was only ten years old, I had an international network of spies monitoring every conversation of every politician for me and, 30 years before anyone else, I had invented secret webcams so I was getting the real truth. (not sure how to add a smiley)

Well now that you’ve grown up, and hopefully realise that the MSM aren’t necessarily always particularly accurate or free of bias and may even on occasion pursue an agenda of their own, do you think you might benefit from reviewing the assumptions on which your juvenile views were based?

Just had another look at Sevco’s share price, it looks to me like those 250,000 shares were put up for offer, but no-one has taken them!
Am I reading that right, or should I have persevered with trying to buy that number plate I mentioned earlier?
