CELTIC are on the brink of sealing a £9million deal for Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan.
The Egyptian World Cup ace has been on Martin O’Neill’s radar for weeks and the move is about to get the green light.
The Spanish club are ready to accept an initial fee of £6million plus £3million in add-ons for the 24-year-old flanker.
The Hoops hierarchy have made progress in their protracted talks with their counterparts at the Liga 2 club and it appears they have at last reached a settlement, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

Hassan and his team-mates were on the verge of one of the competition’s biggest sensations as they led Argentina 2-0, but Messi and Co fought back for a dramatic 3-2 victory.
The player kicked off his career at French side Chateauroux before switching to Spain with Villarreal in 2020.
Hassan joined Oviedo two years ago and is entering the final year of his contract.
He has told his club he wants to move on – and it looks as though his next stop will be Glasgow.
His arrival would push the Hoops’ transfer outlay towards thee £26million mark after the record signing of Danish striker Kasper Hogh, at £11million-plus from Bodo/Glimt, and Colombian frontman Camilo Duran, who cost £6million from Qarabag.
