SEBASTIAN TOUNEKTI is obviously a believer in making a favourable first impression.
The £5.2million deadline-day arrival from Hammerby produced a Man-of-the-Match performance on his debut in the 2-1 Premiership win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last weekend.
And the twinkle-toed Tunisian stole the show once again in yesterday’s 4-0 Premier Sports League Cup quarter-final victory over Partick Thistle at Firhill where he claimed his first goal for the champions.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were already leading through two headers from Yang Hyun-jun and Liam Scales at the interval when Tounetki killed off any hopes the Jags of staging a revival when he whipped in No..3 just a minute into the second period.

ON THE BALL…Sebastian Tounetki turns on the style at Firhill.
Luke McCowan collected a fourth goal near the end to complete the scoring and book semi-final place against Rangers at Hampden early in November.
Tounetki is determined to extend his fine early showings when the champions take on Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League opener in the Serbian capital on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old wing wizard said: “It’s been really amazing and I’m so pleased to get my first goal.
“I like to play with a lot of confidence and this style is fitting me really well – that’s one of the reasons I wanted to come to Celtic.
“The manager gives me a lot of freedom on the wing so I’m just really happy to be here and to help the team to win games.”

HAPPY DAZE…Sebastian Tounetki salutes the fans as Liam Scales celebrates his goal with Kelechi Iheanacho. Callum McGregor, Colby Donovan and Benjamin Nygren join in.
Tounetki, speaking to Celtic TV, added: “It’s been really easy to settle in because I’ve got such good team-mates and such good staff around the team.
“I’m taking in so much from everyone, so it’s been a pleasure.
“I’m really looking forward to the Europa League game.
“I wanted to come to Celtic and play in big matches like this, so I’m really looking forward to starting the campaign.”
