Charles Green and his initial backers have achieved a remarkable result with what is already evident in their prospectus. Page 66 notes: “In the period to 31 August 2012, a total of 25,340,000 shares were issued for a total consideration of £7,719,000”, issued at approximately 30.4p per share. At a price of 70p per share these shares would be worth £17.738m, a cool £10m profit.
Since that August date Green has enjoyed something of a windfall. Page 83 notes, “The contractual right to an option over 10 per cent. of the enlarged ordinary share capital of RFCL was exercised by Charles Green on 31 October 2012 by a partial exercise notice pursuant to which 5,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in RFCL were issued to Charles Green on 31 October 2012.”
That’s 5m shares, worth 70p each, which is a stunning £3.5m to add to the above £10m!
Have you heard how great the CQN Annual is? You can order online here, not many posting days left before Christmas!
Next month a raft of new bodies will have notifiable shareholdings, specifically: Hargreave Hale, Artemis Investment Management, Cazenove Capital Management, Legal & General Investment and Insight Investment Management, all of whom will seek returns for their money.
2012 was the year Rangers were liquidated. It was also the year the assets were snatched from the grasp of an array of Rangers fans by people who saw an opportunity.
2013 will bring an SPL Commission and Upper Tier Tribunal issues for oldco but the consequences of these share issues will determine the performance of newco for decades to come. I think you and me should keep quiet about this. Let Charlie carry on and do what he needs to do over the coming weeks.

HT where are you watching a wonderful life I have just checked all my channels and canny find it.
Regarding the trouble in Titanic Town my bhoy is going over for the New Year and I am getting a wee bitty worried, as when he was over about 6 weeks back the orcs picked up on his accent and started asking what division does the team you support play in.
Strange breed of animals are Norn Irn orcs.

‘My view is that Jabba’s job (which he already started weeks ago when he was still at the record) is basically to discredit anything on the internet. Green will be aware that bloggers will be saying negative things about the share issue.’
########
The Record stopped allowing comments on their online sports stories a couple of months ago.
I said at the time that it would have been at the request of the huns.
There was no point them paying a PR company to produce copy if it was immediately contradicted, undermined and ridiculed by internet bampots as soon as it appeared.
I haven’t visited the site since.
I wonder if it might now occur to anyone at Trinity Group to look at that decision and what part Jabba the Hun had in it.
The gaffer received a real bit of poison on twitter from a total animal. Again. Too much. Take care Lenny. HH
Come on you Guiness Bhoys
has a ring to it
How’s the weather in Arbroath?
Nosey CSC
BSR – can’t help you there ;-)
A Celtic/Guiness tie-up has been doing the rounds for longer than I can remember.
Hopefully it might happen eventually.
Cheers!
HH!!
Pity we can’t get Arsenal in CL,Provan said Stapleton will have to come off the bench……
Brilliant goal from Fletcher to make it 2-0 for Sunderland.
He did a wee back flick to a driven cross. Class.
Wish we had signed him if only for the profit we would have made if nothing else.
Forecast is not getting much above freezing – don’t know if there’s a pitch inspection scheduled
In regards to the twitter abuse the boss is getting, is there not a police section monitoring these morons? HH

Need to have a word with you about your current position (work) and something I’m working on for local schools. I’ll be in touch once I’ve got a clearer idea if that’s ok?
Make sure the Bhoy sticks to particular areas, you’ll know the ones, and that he keeps his head down just now mate.
I’m sure he’ll be grand.
Ha – Too early even for ole up_over’s dashing 3-5-2
Provan praises a goal that goes past the post?
Can’t be @@@ed this year told the wife we’ll no bother with a Christmas Tree and just get a giant car airfreshner ‘Magic Tree’ then just slide it behind the wardrobe, till next year.
Ernie,
I’m pretty sure I heard someone on the radio on Saturday (possibly Cosgrove) saying Jabba had known about his “new” job for quite a while.

Is it a reasonable proposition to turn up at Arbroath tomorrow night and expect to get in?
I think any of the Group winners would fancy Arsenal before us in the CL.

That is a fair point, civil disobedience is a valid democratic tool.
Violent intimidation of individuals to attain your goal is not, at least not in this case, possibly never, nah, actually, intimidation towards individuals never could be for me.
Violence can be justified if people are oppressed, basic rights denied, but only in the most extreme cases. Non violence has, several times had a greater effect than violence, not always, but often enough to convince me there is always a non violent alternative.
Civil rights are not being denied here, so violence is unjustifiable.
There is no oppression here, they are flying a flag on certain days of the year, taking into account all sides of the community. One side would have it flying at all times, another would never have it flying. Neither side is being attacked in any way, a compromise had been reached.
Your point was still a fair one.
harryhoodsdugbitme @20:09 & 20:16o to quote Thatcher “deny them the oxygen of publicity.”
