Really looking forward to tomorrow. Aberdeen are no flash-in-the-pan, they are as strong a non-Glasgow team as there has been in 25 years, having built on foundations laid last season. They arrive at Celtic Park having won there last season, and after two narrow defeats to Celtic this season, which has cost them a place at the top of the league.
Ronny Deila will have an enormous job to pick his players up after the disappointment of Thursday night, but that’s what champions do.
I know we’ve got a few foodies here, so check out The Foodies Guide to Glasgow and the West, by Fraser Wilson. Proceeds from the book go to Mary’s Meals, which goes a long way towards alleviating poverty.
If you are from or near Dundee…….
There’s a charity dinner to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Brother Walfrid, in the East Chamber, Dundee, on Friday 17 April. Proceeds from the night will go towards helping three-year-old Oliver Bosch, who was born without auditory nerves.
The evening will have an Irish theme, with an Irish menu, music and song and the Lochee School of Irish Dancing will give a display of traditional Irish dancing. For tickets contact joe.carroll1948@yahoo.co.uk

Donkeycaster call emergency press conference for Monday:
‘We’re advancing the proposal to reconstruct the SPL for the start of next season – no Premier league relegation, no play-offs, and the top 2 from the Championship automatically promoted in: an SPL increase from 12 to 14 teams.’
Lackey leans in, cupping hand to his ear: ‘(Whisper, whisper)’
Donkeycaster: ‘Um, possibly to 15 teams. Top 3 from the Championship straight up.’
Lackey again interrupts, whispering.
Donkeycaster: ‘Er, with the felxibility to increase to 16, even 17..’ – looks to lackey who nods – ‘..Um, and maybe 18, y’know, depending, um, ehhh…’
And Scottish Football facepalms.
So Hearts can win their league circa April Fool’s Day ……hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
For all the tennis fans…Federer one set up against Djokovic, can he keep it going?

As always, you do your bit to explain why we get it in the neck. And you do so very well.
My thinking is that we get it in the neck cos knobends like on Thursday night follow our club.
Nae excuse for it. But equally no excuse for disproportionate punishment when other infractions are ignored.
High time the club stopped accepting this crap and told UEFA to judge us by the sme rules as everyone else.

There is a strong evidence that the BBC Scotland reporters were straight on to UEFA after Thursday night.
Gerryfaethebrig, definitely want the ticket. Can you email me at acgr@hotmail.co.uk
Lennybhoy also texted me to say he’d passed my number to you.
Either way, I will take the ticket.

Defo fat finger syndrome.
Di Maria replaced at half time, can’t see him being their next season. Crazy money spent on him.

Scotland 19-15 Italy – Greig Laidlaw
Posted at 66 mins
Scotland can’t pick a way through the massed blue ranks and, as they spill forward, the referee calls it back for Italy’s offside earlier in the phases.
It is a gimme of a kick for Greig Laidlaw and he slots perfectly.

Its not so much the punishment that should be proportionate to the event in question allowing for efforts to reduce, which clearly worked as it was one flare, it is the attempt to condemn us by what amounts to main stream whataboutery.
It is these guys Celtic need to call to heel. I would have a list and invite them in for a wee chat.

Yes, black guy, build like a tank, can shift, on loan from Dutch club thta escapes me.
Would do a job for us, and I thought that when I first saw him. Plays like a Guidetti with more pace.
auldheid,
You hit the nail on the head, it’s all about deflection. No back page news about the dodgy referee, all about some clown with a flare.
The silence from the smsm about the semi-final and thems next game spoke volumes in what to expect when the reincarnation eventually get to the top teir.

“Re the flare man
Is it possible for Euro away games that Celtic add some form of liability clause onto the ticket application process, along lines of ‘ if you are guilty of breaking UEFA rules, and club gets fined, the fine is yours’
I know that might seem a bit draconian, but I suspect we are only 1 or 2 incidents away from much more serious sanctions , which will cost club and ultimately as a ST holder, I will pay for….”
The Pussy Rebels seem keen to keep their identities hidden, my guess is even if you could impose these T&Cs on ticket purchases, enforcing it would be nigh on impossible.
What we would be dealing with are Rebels without a Clause.

Sorry that was cryptic, and I can’t back it up with hard facts, other than Celtic supporters going as far as naming a particular ‘reporter’
on various other Celtic sites.
I haven’t delved into it, I’ve no desire.
However, I firmly believe that SMSM are playing a much bigger part in proceedings, than merely over reporting a single regrettable Celtic offender in a
pyro incident.

If you are not being facetious and that is true about Lamont, we really should be “witholding” press privileges from BBC Scotland.
FFS the Hun monkeys ban them and that’s after the BBC fall over themselves to give the dark side a positive press.
Given that their agenda has become more transparent in proportion to bad news emanating from the bigoted ones it is no longer an issue of press freedom. Why do we continue to facilitate those who wish to destroy us.

It would be difficult to enforce, but acts as a deterrent.
Lost at cricket to the might of Afghanistan – rugby to Italy – should retire from international sport.

As we enter the final hour the gloves come off and Lewis Hamilton immediately jumps the Mercedes to the top of the pile.
On the soft tyre, the world champion does a 1:23.022, two-tenths faster than the previous best today by Felipe Massa, which don’t forget was a lap done on the super-soft Pirelli.
