I thought SS had a very quiet game but I would say more from the point that the ball didn’t go near him.. He came back to defend to try and pick up the ball

Not read back. Just got in as 3rd goal went in and did not think we played well afterwards but still looked to have plenty in reserve.
Sweet times.

Aberdeen have nothing to add to tonight’s team. That’s them at full strength except Jack who won’t play in final. We have the captain and biggest influence to come back and possibly Moussa to come off the bench.
Brendan will have a plan for the long ball game if they play like that at Hampden.

Good thing about tonight’s game is that Sheep have shown their hand (or hoof) – long ball though the middle to a lump of wood and send your defensive lump of wood (Ash) up front with 15 to go !
Hampden (hopefully) won’t be a cow field and we should have the freedom of the pitch – and Broony to rally the defensive side things. Brendan will have learned a lot about what they might face for the Treble – I’m confident !!!
On a night when the pitch is agricultural the sheep playing like men possessed when we played poorly we still gubbed them 3-1 in an 12 minute masterclass at the start of the first half

Comment not only based on tonight, but last few games he seems to be playing within himself.
Don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of his but just what I feel recently.
Fair enough I do think there are games when all Celtic’s play goes down the other side of the park through James and Paddy. I do feel when he is not involved we look a poorer team.

If games were played over 80 minutes ( leaving out the 1st 10 rather than the last 10) Aberdeen would have won one nil…..Fact

never a penalty , CG never fouled he went to punch ball away and their player and CG bump into each other.
So , Aberdeen were great and only got pumped 1-3 at home? Just asking like, I may be daft but I just want to know if I should be asking for sackings at Celtic Park.
No worries, I’ll just wait and read the Record tomorrow, they have an award winning journalist who always tells the full story. Night all.

Brendan twice mentions the game at hampden will be different as there is such a good surface at the national stadium and none of the panel picked him up on what he really meant.

Well how does one analysis that? Celtic steam rolled Aberdeen to go 3-0 up within 10 minutes. At that juncture a right good old North East sheep pumping looked on. Aberdeen responded and scored the goal of the game with t goal from ‘don’t goal to Celtic’ Hayes. After that it seems that someone removed the Duracell’s from the bhoys. Scotty Browns absence was painfully evident as a non-existent Celtic midfield allowed Aberdeen to continue to pressure an at times floundering Celtic defence with both DB and Jozo making a series of errors. Craig Gordon had his busiest night in many a game.
In the second half BR replaced the Tommy Rogic with Nir Bitton in an attempt to bolster the midfield. Rogic had little opportunity to shine in this game and Bitton did little to impress when he came on. And in the main the Aberdeen pressure continued, Celtic perhaps being a tad lucky to avoid a sheep pen claim when Gordon collided with an Aberdeen player. Celtic, despite the sheep ‘being up for it’ held on to their lead but truthfully the score perhaps does not reflect how close this game was.
MHO – why didn’t BR send on Eboue. And Hurry back Scot Brown

Must be a wurrld record for replays of the penalty claim. Still no sure. What does that tell you

One of our worst games of the season and one of their better ones. We still beat them 3-1 at their park.
Good game. Not much chance to play our game but dug it out.
great chance now to remain invincible.
Shay Logan’s a knob.
Well played celts. Job done.
Want to know why Aberdeen can’t beat St Johnstone?
Because a Tommy Wright team can out ‘snotter’ a Derek McInnes team.
And neither can win a meaningful match in Europe.
Football based on the ‘Gullane sands’ philosophy.
Outdated, outmoded, prehistoric, anachronistic with its origins in Ibrox.
Hail hail
The fact that they matched us for 90 minutes should ensure there is no complacency for the Final.
We were not at our best but we won & that’s what counts.
Brown will make a huge difference to the midfield.
Roll on the Glasgow Derby.

Just glad we did not get any major injuries tonight.
I thought that may happen in the second half.
Maybe on the player’s minds too.
Thankfully BT are showing the penalty claim again in case anyone must missed it. Not sure if they showed the incident again during the match.
Remarkable season
Absolutely fan bloody tastic
Destroyed your nearest challengers in 10 mins. Cruised the rest of the game. How I saw it.
I thot it was a pen as did our manager, good enough for me.
It’s whot gives them their excuse that things even themselfs out.
Sutton called it wrong it was never a penalty !!
