  1. BMCUCW…it’s understandable…just nerves before the biggest game of the season…before the next one ;-))

  2. OGLACH on 14TH APRIL 2019 4:22 PM

Allegedly McInnes sent to the stand for gesturing at the Celtic support! Can anyone verify?

    …………..

He certainly gestured to somebody as he made his way up the Tunnel of NO Love…after being sent aff !

Surely thats a further offence….” NOT Acting in the best interests of Association Football” ?

We’re still not doing anything much with corners and we had plenty of them today.

  4. AuroraBorealis79 on

Yet another example of the ill discipline,

created by negligence of Scottish Football Officials, on show to day.

& the Glasgow Evening Times leads with “Derek McInnes sent to the stands for”…. wait for it… “Reacting to sectarian abuse”

  5. Johnny Hayes is everything Sinclair is not, strong, powerful, dynamic and brave and can be switched to either wing throughout the game

He has become a very valuable member of the team and adds a bit of balance which we lacked under Rodgers

TONTINE TIM-wee jamesy played well to,in fact there really wasn’t a failure today.

*Lenny first spotted him in the youths and gave him his chance so how fitting he returns the favour on his return.

I watch a lot of the EPL and like Man City, wee Sterling is a great wee player but is he as good as Jamesie.

  7. Melbourne Mick on

Anybody else think when the cameras went to the ftsfa seats and

Craig broon and big Eck were sitting there like the glums, it looked

like the bowling club bar had run out of beer.

    H.H Mick

  8. Now that Hayes has become fashionable and will be the subject of a lot of CQN comment, his name is Jonny not Johnny, Pedanticbassacsc

  9. Bobby Murdochs Crumpled Up Chip Wrapper on

Anyone know the idiot who ruins every game at Hampden with his constant loud inane whistling?

If you do, could you ask him politely to stop it?

Sectarian : caused by or feeling very strong support for a religious or political group….

Pretty sure we as a support couldn’t give a sh#t about McInnes’ religious or political beliefs…media already trying to deflect from McInnes’ behaviour and blame us

  11. McInness on BBC bleating like a sheep. Apparently the Ball sending off was harsh! Also admits he reacted to the Celtic support

  12. BMCUCW

I always wondered how he manages to get the same seat every game

    Maybe it’s Rod Stewart…

    B-)

  13. BMCUCW…if you are M, is the person you’re refering to yer da, CCB? ;-))))))

    H.H.

  14. Not for the first time against Aberdeen at hampden, one of our players ends up badly injured.

We must highlight this and express our disappointment. I honestly feel Aberdeen are the 2nd best team in Scotland and needn’t resort to such tactics.

Many in the press will look for any squirrel with which to sully our outstanding performance today.

We shouldn’t let this happen. We must take the initiative.

    A good day

  15. Can you imagine the fallout.

Scottish showpiece cup semi!, Celtic 2 sent off, manager and assistant sent off!!.

Parliament recalled, polis involved, summit’s about feckin summit’s!!!.

    Easy the day.

Gave away my ticket, got the flu!!, but half pished just the same.

Brownie!, the capitano never broke sweat!.

    I salute you.

    Hail Hail.

  16. Never seen a ball kicked, but well done Celtic, happy that the midfield today were not bullied , heard NL on RS say that Ryan has a suspected fractured cheek bone or eye socket, expects him back for the Cup final, hard luck son though luck might not have anything to do with it if it’s as late as reported.

    MELBOURNE MICK

Just thought Benkovic was a more natural choice, nothing against big Jozo but as I said wtf do I know!

  18. Melbourne Mick on

Getting very confusing on here now, is big Jimmy uncle Jimmy

is Bobby’s chipwrapper BMCUWP, is johnny Hayes Jonny.

Think i need a guinness to sort it all out.

    H.H Mick

  19. What about Broony endin that guys career with a drop of the shoulder near the end of the game?

    Genuine laugh out loud moment

    B-)

  20. Could we be in trouble for referring to McInness’ colour? Superb win. On to the 3/3.

  21. Really enjoyed that today, not a failure or escaped goat in sight.

You just know that Leveins tactics will be identical, boot Celtic, fall at the slightest touch and launch high balls into Celtic box.

    Won’t work for them either.

Glad for Johny Hayes ive been saying for months he should play in the away games.

Simo was excellent, was worried there, thought he got to tight to his man at St Mirren, was rolled, then fouled. Imperious, driving forward today though.

The only thing Aberdeen got right all afternoon was to give Lustig acres of space when down to nine and just defend the middle.

The invitation for a treble treble party on the 25th May gladly accepted.

All at the location of our good friends the SFA.

Would be rude not too, HH

  22. onenightinlisbon on

The “referee” set the tone by allowing the Dandy Dons to kick, push, shove etc without doing a thing, hence the two red cards. Their “manager” knew that they cannot beat us by playing football.

  23. Again taken fro the Daily Record Tomorrow…..

“Neil Lennon held talks with Celtic supremo Dermot Desmond before guiding the club into yet another Scottish Cup Final.

The Hoops interim boss remains unmoved following a week of speculation as he laid down another marker in his quest to land the job full-time with a 3-0 win over Aberdeen.

Lennon was forced to contend with Roberto Martinez, Andre Villas-Boas and others being linked with the job he currently occupies and admits it’s been a difficult week.

But goals from James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic swept aside the nine-man Dons as Celtic edged closer to an historic treble Treble.

Lennon revealed he held talks with majority shareholder Desmond just 24 hours before securing victory at the national stadium.”

  24. BBC already started feeling sympathy because of sectarian abuse…. Orange Order is 100% anti catholic organization.. So if if you call someone a Nazi, someone with far right opinions, then you are wrong!!

  25. Melbourne Mick on

    Big Jimmy

Wee question i’ve been wanting to ask you, is your preferred

pub in the Gallowgate the old Lamppost as it used to be called?

    No need to answer.

    H.H Mick

  26. TWO other observations Today…Cal McGregor was taken out by The Sheeps NO.8 AFTER he passed the ball to Jamesy for 1st goal.

For 3rd Goal…Mikaels free kick knocked Jonny hayes aff his feet as he stood in the Dons wall…thats why Hayes was pishing himself laughing when he ran to celebrate with Tom Rogic after he scored…Jonny must have been claiming that it HIM who PASSED the ball to Tom for his goal ?

    HH

  27. Just back from Humped’em Stadium.

Enjoyed the walk back from the stadium with Marspapa who was heading vaguely Vogue-wards as I left him.

We put the sheep in their box early doors with big Jozo setting the tone- think the big fella had backed himself to score with the number of chances he had today.

What a fluky blind-eyed sclaff from our inconsistent POTY contender to set us on our way. Celtic’s answer to Marmite- wee James.

Terrific second half showing from Jonny Hayes who deserved the MOTM award (BBC said it was given to James Forrest) in my opinion. Certainly he upsets defences more than Scott Sinclair does at the moment.

Mile wide smile on me today.

P.S. Anyone with a spare for the Cup Final?
