    Demand ?

From a position of impotent irrelevance ?

    Choose your fights.

Fight for the achievable , not the impossible.

John Grieg simply remains a four legged enemy .

The impoverishment and / or termination of hunnish Rangers will not achieve the end of Scottish hunnism.

In fact , there is a reasonable possibility that the Shankill element will respond in the time dishonoured fashion with which we are all tragically familiar .

Social cohesion is the crucial issue.

Just possible that this is how the Celtic Board views the issue .

That should be at the forefront of their thinking.

Gently but firmly render the hun element irrelevant in both a sporting and social context .

    Softly softly .

Mind you , it`s not as if we don`t have to put our own house in order.

I would be concerned if any family members were heading to the Eternal City for the Lazio return leg .

    Mussolini is dead. Unlike Che.

` Social cohesion is the crucial issue.

Just possible that this is how the Celtic Board views the issue .`

An interesting viewpoint. Anything to support said view?

    Cheerio for now.

See when you were belittled on here for years and being called negative, a hun when all you pointed out was it’ll go nowhere and Celtic will do nothing then I’m posting what I like ok.

This has been going on for 7 years and they were told the club were at it but they didn’t listen they left it with one man and look at it now a total shambles and our club is trying to sweep corruption under the carpet.

Our club are complicit and you and the rest won’t change my mind on that.

Why would they not want to tackle corruption especially when they are the victims.

We all sit and put our club up there as if they can do no wrong and we sit and roast the Rangers fans for having King as their main man but look at those running our club they are allowing fraud to be swept aside. I’m sorry it’s wrong and disgusting and my message to others to wake up FFS is because fans are sitting doing nothing and are more interested or should I say happy as long as we’re winning.

The game needs cleansed it’s rotten to the core and has been for years and as long as Celtic are winning we as Celtic fans are happy to say nothing I’m sorry but I thought we as fans stood for more than that.

This is why those in power are cheating and bending the rules because they continuously get away with it and if the biggest club in Scotland are saying nothing and sweeping it under the carpet then those that are breaking the rules will continue to break them and that’s because we allow it.

HOT SMOKED on 28TH OCTOBER 2019 10:50 AM

What support should be required to justify that viewpoint ?

It`s what decent people in a civilised society instinctively insist on.

Back the hun into the corner and what response would you expect ?

Bombs , bullets and spitting on the Clergy .That`s what .

    Violence perchance ?

    Directed at any handy fenian.

I admire the work of the Celtic Trust too and Jeanette Findlay, in particular, in defending fans. They too are blameless for this outcome. It may be a Celtic trait to indulge in internal Civil War, rather than keep the focus on our timeless enemies but I won’t buy into that.

The requisitioners have ownership of this movement. It was done in the name of shareholders (and sadly I am not one of them) and they deserve the respect to take it forward in the name of the people who put their trust in them, if they still have that trust. I hope that the wider members of the Celtic Trust (who own shares) will see it that way too.

    ==================

Me too, have worked with Jeanette in the past and as I said the Twitter response came as a consequence of misunderstanding and best dealt with off line.

  6. HENRIK1967 on 28TH OCTOBER 2019 10:58 AM

Congratulations. You were right and we had no idea of what we were doing.

    Duh

  7. What SFTB said……….

I admire the work of the Celtic Trust too and Jeanette Findlay, in particular, in defending fans. They too are blameless for this outcome. It may be a Celtic trait to indulge in internal Civil War, rather than keep the focus on our timeless enemies but I won’t buy into that.

    ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

    Prioritise our “timeless enemies”.

  8. What is it we all want?

Is there a clear and concise message that will engage the Support? Will it rally fitba’ supporters in Scotland?

If it all gets too “Peoples Front of Judea” – which imo it looks and sounds very much like it could then the kulprits will again escape scot-free and the net result will be the perception that……….

    ……….it was aw oor fault.

    Priorities!

    Fix Fitba’ Empty Hampden.

  9. AULDHEID on 28TH OCTOBER 2019 11:21 AM

I don’t want any plaudits an apology would be a start.

  10. From @edwardrice1

Some ppl up in arms over the boards refusal to back Res12. The only ppl to blame are our own fans who have consistently bought tickets for SFA/SPFL cup competitions. Only a small minority within our support have actually supported the endeavours of those who perused Res12

  11. The PLC has never wanted the investigation asked for by Res 12. Its calculated cautious response at the 2013 AGM was to string along the requsitioners. Outright opposition could have been argued to be against shareholders’ interests.

The board will try to stifle discussion at the upcoming AGM. I really hope someone who knows the issue well is able to address the AGM and hold the board accountable in a public forum. I have no doubt that any vote taken will overwhelmingly support the board.

It seems that only a small fraction of the support are interested and with the team doing well on the park, it will be a big job to motivate them into some kind of protest. I want a thorough clear out at the SFA, our PLC and FIFA and UEFA. Not too much to ask, eh?

  12. The Celtic Board, like the SFA, didn’t want the huns to go bust.

The Celtic Board, like the SFA, like to pretend it didn’t happen.

    It’s all about business.

Nothing’s going to change the stance of the Celtic Board. They’re too deeply invested in what has happened.

It’s, at best, naïve to pretend otherwise, and always has been.

  13. Henrik1967

Irony isnt your strength is it?

The possibility the Board were stringing us along was always there, but in doing so the evidence that a UEFA investigation would have uncovered, surfaced.

That Celtic chose to ignore it is not a failing of the requisitioners, it’s a failing of Celtic.

So if you are looking for an apology write to PL.
