Only one winner after Christie came on. Several below par performances against a big physical team at Pittodrie in a storm and still we won
Hopefully Lenny’s learned plenty ahead of what’s likely to be a similar sort of game at Ibrox

Can’t win by four or five every week. There are lots of ways to win a football match and these are the kind of wins that really dishearten the chasing sides.
Bit misleading to say Ajer “smashed” the winner home. I thought it was composed and placed with power…unlike Hayes who did try to just “smash it”.
Thought Julien did well in poor swirling conditions.
Big step taken today.

A brutal and torturous afternoon, it was a really tough watch. You cannot overstate the importance of those 3 points, they are absolutely gargantuan. All manner of hope has just been ripped from the team in 2nd place. Just about all doubt has been removed that Celtic will win the Title and 9 in a row.

We’ll done on the result Bhoys.
A very significant result.
Poor tactics and performance.
90 mph winds, Dallas junior, rotten pitch.
What did our management team expect?
Aberdeen got lots of joy by mimicking Sevco’s tactics in league cup final.
Anyway, who cares.
Titanic and the Ark and all that.
Happy days.

absolutely brilliant result today , but bringing on JH was like playing with 10 men

Ajer running the length of the pitch to get on the end of Forrest’s pass sums up this team.
Relentless.

GG and all thanks for updates.
Pity we can’t all synchronise our screens.mais ta anyhow.
He always contributes. The ‘empty jerseyists’ Should look at the bigger picture with JF. Teams set up to deny him space but when it counts he sees a pass or makes space for team mates.
He will be looked back on as a Celtic great in my opinion. He’ll probably be a one club man and will be one of our most decorated players if not the most.
Cal Mac, him and Broonie always give me hope that we can dig something out.
Phew that was tough, and how did Eddy miss that chance…but full credit especially when we were defending, we didnt mess about at the back and cleared our lines.
like others on here I was of the opinion at half time that the wind was suiting the dons game plan better, and it largely continued in the 2nd half without them carving out any clear cut chances.
Any Huns watching that must be even MORE sick, as it was a game that we could easily have dropped points in given the conditions.
Well done Celtic and Neil Lennon.
We did what CHAMPIONS do.

On a day suited to hammer throwers it was settled by a wonderful goal , great skill from Eddy. Calmac bursts forward, gives to Jamsie who uses his cloak of invisibility to play in Kris for a clever finish. The sheep pushed forward at the end leaving us with space on the break which JF exploited , unlucky not to get a third.
lets all do the huddle on
apart from our 2 goals, we had the only 2 other real chances of the game
Big Kris took his goal just like Henrik used to do…a wee chip over the keeper…MAGIC !

In the next five weeks we play seven away games and only two at home (Ross County and Hearts). If we beat Partick Thistle on Saturday, a tenth game will happen during this timeframe, making the series either seven or eight away from home in 10 games.
Apart from the final games in the series, in Copenhagen, the others all have a must-win look to them. Thistle are struggling for form at the moment, so are unlikely to pose much of a threat, but we have two games on plastic – Kilmarnock and Hamilton – as well as trips to Motherwell and Aberdeen.
This is an exceptional load by any standards. Getting it right during this period will define our season.

We just completed that 5 week cycle. We have defined our own season regardless how others may want to frame it as a sevco implosion. 9 wins from 9. 13 points clear.
Well done, Celtic.

Well, that’s why we’re champions. Sometimes you just have to grind it out. Lenny knew it and you saw by his reaction at the end that this was a major win in the drive to 9 in a row. People keep talking about 10, but I grew up watching the first 9 and we should never understate what an achievement a repeat 9 would be.
Ron67 – Completely ridiculous comment about Hayes.

Oh ye of little FAITH!
Storm Dennis man of the match
How many saves did FF make? How many chances did Aberdeen make?
Don’t know if it was deserved, but I’ll take it!
Who needs strikers anyway.

Best win of the season so far. Absolute mind fk to thems. Brilliant

Exactly that! the zombies weren’t already broken and we just broke them some more.
I might put 50p on Livingston to get a draw, maybe even 20p on a win.
Were already broken
Not pretty but great result
That for me despite all the great performances was THE result of the season for us.
That was such a tough game for us.
But one passage of sheer quality from french eddy and ‘mr invisible ‘ brilliantly finished by big ajer.
That’s what makes champions champions.
Also great defending today by big julien and the others.
Stayed solid under very unusually prolonged pressure.
I am buzzing because that was season defining for me
