    From memory, can’t be bothered looking back , we had a shocking run of results in October into November 1985. Turned out alright that season.

     

    Looks like it will go the whole way this season. Everyone who posts on here knows that things can change quickly, some patience required. We need to stick by Neil and the squad. Making it to another cup final will help. I think we’ll do it.

    I’ve not really seen anything of Soro as yet, but I have noticed that he seems to make the bench quite regularly which leads me to believe that he must be doing plenty right in training. It begs the question just what has prevented him from getting game time bearing in mind just how woeful our performances have been for weeks now?

     

    Just one of a number of baffling things prevalent at the moment.

    For the record I am one of the ‘apple polishers’ who continues to back the manager .

     

    However the sheer weight of negativity and loss of faith in him from the majority appears to be decisive.

     

    Can not now see how this ends well for Neil Lennon.

     

    I thought his reaction[or lack of] in the dug out as we quickly appeared to turn it around in the second half spoke volumes.

     

    He is a man at the end of his tether ….we are a team at the end of an incredible reign of domestic cup collecting.

     

    WHEN he is replaced I hope some imagination and hard work is put into replacing him because for the life of me I cannot think of any viable alternative that excites me.

     

    Off the top of my head as a last resort to keep Neil Lennon I would demote our coaches and bring in Martin Oneill and a coach of his choice to work WITH Neil Lennon till the end of the season…..but I doubt that is going to happen…….the whole current situation we are in appears desperate and I am miserable just thinking about it.

    Think we all had the same message but I reckon it’s just wind up merchants at work.

     

    It’s just possible that we are not as good as we thought we were.

     

    Last year we leant heavily on Forster & Eddie.

     

    Forster is gone & so far this year Eddie is just a shadow of last year’s player.

     

    Don’t think we played badly today but you can’t concede 2 penalties in a game & expect to win.

     

    Normally coming off a European game & away to Aberdeen you wouldn’t be devastated with a draw.

     

    But after coming back from a goal down twice to take the lead & then to get caught in injury time is a real sore one to take.

     

    Its over & down with now, tough game next Thursday & a Cup Semi Final Sunday.

    Do you think bringing back Martin O Neil would make any difference,naw that well passed it sell by date,His team selections on the Motherwell game when Scott McDonald scored 2 goals and the Hun winning comfortably at Ibrox ensured them winning the league,no he like Strachan are now in the Pensioners league

    Have already changed next years holiday to Lara Beach,

    A lot of posters asking who will replace Lenny, and for sure he will be replaced, he may or may not have lost the players, but imo he has lost the support, that is a death blow, always has been and always will be.

     

    There are wheans of good quality coaches out there, take Arsenal, they took a chance on a bloke who had never managed before , if we want a manager that’s different, if we want a coach, the world is our oyster, Lenny will be gone at sometime, nothing surer, I hope Pedro has list drawn up.

    Toe be fair, Arsenal’s situation is different. They’re happy to use a season or two of the Arteta “project” to build something.

     

     

    We need someone who is available and affordable to come in now, hit the ground running and preferably win nearly all our games until we face Newco.

     

     

    No easy task.

    GORDYBHOY64- good stuff mate,we fancy Lara beach The weans we’re there recently and loved it .Hotels are all Vegas class apparently.We’ve got Tenerife booked for feb fingers crossed.Would love a Vegas get together.
