Goal against the run of play and a well rehersed set piece. Celtic a lot of the play but Armstrong and GMS are gutless.
Ronny you need to through in the big men and go direct no pussying about on that pitch.

First 20 minutes we fizzed 2 or 3 balls accross their box & nobody made a run across their defender. LG caught on his heels at least twice, but if we had another striker in the box there’s a chance one of those balls would have been converted. We’re crying out for two up top but Ronny will live or die with his 4-2-3-1. Sadly I think he’s got 45 minutes to avoid the latter.

This Aberdeen defence can be got at, but Ronny needs to change it up at half time. If he doesn’t he’ll be the architect of his own undoing. Mind you the players will probably try to beat him to that.
Aberdeen deserved nothing out of that half, but that probably says more about us to be fair.

not our night lads. Played ok, bossed them, lost a goal to a good strike and then panicked. The sheep will sit back and hit us on the break, the tactic they are set up for and one we can’t cope with. I’d be content with two at this minute, lick our wounds and start again.

IMO when faced with a crap pitch, which nullifies skill, we don’t have the players who will roll up their sleeves and battle till they drop. You know, like decent teams do when having to play in middens.
