  1. Interesting to read of CQN tweet that it is ‘corner turned’.

I think we need to concentrate on ‘corner defended’

    Defensively, we remain woeful

Good 3 points today, though the frailties remain

  2. The result at Ibrox underlines how important that win today was for us.

We’ll hopefully get some players back in the next couple of weeks and build some momentum.

I think we’ll win at Fir Park but Hibs away at the end of the month stands out as a very difficult match. We won’t see those reds given in our favour that’s for sure.

  3. Not sure how we manage to turn cheating against us and for them as the board’s fault.

It’s just that we live in Scotland and most hate us.

The obvious one’s march the subtle one’s we’re surrounded by; press, media, referees, sfa blazers, politicians, police force. When the entire world is trying overcome prejudice, Scotland is pulling together to give their figurehead- sevco fc a way of succeeding after, yet again, financially doping, potentially substance doping and more than likely covid test doping.

This is just so they can feel superior. Huns (visable and sleekits ) who believe they are better at birth than anyone else.

How do the board change Scottish society? Not their job. And an impossible task. Saw some writing a few weeks back that marches had fallen figures. I believe that’s just more of them don’t want to be seen. Doesn’t mean they’ve gone away or changed their beliefs.

Why are they happy winning by cheating? Because they have to feel superior over us.. It goes no more beyond that.

The sooner we have VAR the better . I know there’s a risk that the same cheating cabal VAR reviewers will abuse the system , but it might just serve to shine a spotlight on the cheating if they do .

I wonder if Hibs fans weren’t allowed into Ibrox today because a fan group of theirs immediately reacted to the news that, Celtic fans weren’t allowed into Ibrox, a few weeks back.

I remember reading this on one of the threads on – celticfcnews.com – website.

There was also a Hibs fan group, not sure if it’s the same group, that reacted to the “famine is over” march in Glasgow, by huns, when the Hibs fan group website said words to the effect “If you don’t like the Irish, then you’ll be getting NO tickets for Easter Road.”

    Hmmmm.

  6. Refs clearly need support (🤪) and clubs are always complaining about poor decisions. Meeting next week about introducing VAR, cost to clubs 60k a season. No brainer for all clubs to fully support it.

Despite some of the chat I still reckon it would take away a lot of bigger errors out of the games cause, big decisions would be given the correct level of scrutiny. Clearly the current situation is not working well. Its reached the stage that every weekend there are several awful decisions.

See while they are there any chance they can also ban plastic pitches in the top flight too.

    —-

VAR will cut out factual errors – like a ball being across the goal line or not.

However, as we can see from huns on the BBC – interpretation will still allow for reds like today.

    ———

Their silence is, and is regarded as acquiescence.

  9. VAR will also eliminate the off sides – the Morelos goal against motherwell never stands under VAR even if Bobby Madden is on the panel.

The board have a duty to call out cheating. It’s as simple as that. If it just occurred at Ibrox today, maybe not sufficient nexus, but the display by Madden needs to be called out.

AN DÚN on 3RD OCTOBER 2021 5:54 PM

The other thing that struck me today was that the innocuous CCV 1st half back post episode would prob end up being a VAR pen after review.

We would end up getting the 30/70 calls given against us and still not get the 70/30s in our favour.

The same monkeys working the machines, nothing to see here Timmy.

  12. SQUIRE DANAHER on 3RD OCTOBER 2021 5:57 PM

What you think the SFA will listen?

Or the press and media won’t call us paranoid again?

The whole of my post tells you why the board saying something won’t make one bit of difference.

Scotland’s establishment club need Champions League money to survive and they need to survive so huns, visual and sleekits can feel superior. So sfa, refs, press, media, pull together.

  13. All Maddens cheating need to be serialised and used to request his removal from games involving Celtic ( and Sevco). He is an ex ST holder of Ibrox and refs us and thems accordingly. Today was a typical Madden game , trying to influence the game to ensure Celtic were denied 3 points. It nearly worked.

The stats tell their own story. Tynecastle we were cheated by Madden.

With the facts from a series of games Celtic need to make an official request to the SFA with the evidence. The letter will leak.

It may even take shareholders to put the request to the club.

Sink the main perpetrator of the cheating and it will result in a significant improvement.

    Stats quo is unacceptable.

Ps well done Ange changed the approach and good use of subs. We can build from here and attack the one major cheat in the refereeing fraternity.

  14. I well remember a few years back when Dr John was our chairman and the cheating referees reared it’s head, he even went as far as to mention the dossier the club had on them and then uttered the words “Those days are gone”, they sure did for him, he was silenced after that, it was as if he never even mentioned them, it must have taken some serious influence to silence him after that me thinks, but they as hell arny gone, it’s worse than it ever was, VAR can only be a good thing, anything in the slightest that will mitigate their cheating in the slightest has to be a positive.

What supporters should advocate for, and by that I mean supporters of all clubs, is that an independent adjudicator is on every VAR panel, brought up from England, this is a must IMO and every right minded supporter should be pushing for this.

    ××××

Were the shareholders concerns not blootired out the park with Resolution 12 issue?

Do the PLC not already know that Celtic fans are all talk and, jelly and ice cream munchers?

If a PLC can oversee the trashing of the ten in a row season, then sell “ALL” of the season tickets a few months later, don’t you think the PLC will already know that they could sit in the the directors box wearing [“f the Green Brigade food bank collections”] t-shirts whilst lighting cigars, and burning £50 notes?

  16. Jack Ross has said on hibs TV that from 1 angle he can see why the referee made the red card decision, no calling out from hibs then of todays refereeing

  17. prestonpans bhoys on

The linesman had a perfect view of the Hibs tackle, could excuse the ref but certainly not him.

  18. The board bashing continues unabated.

Anyway, here’s a nice take on the Sevco game from the BBC

“Gerrard and his players celebrated fiercely at the full-time whistle, indicating how much they valued this comeback victory against a strong Hibs side”

  19. I think the camera view we all saw was similar to the referees view

My first impression was a good tackle and still of the same mind

    it was a good tackle

Pity that blatant cheating is not getting called out

    @ MARTIM1980 on 3RD OCTOBER 2021 5:39 PM

The board are cowards of the first order. Silence on the cheating, silence on the sectarian hatred. They were quick enough to condemn their own fans last season.

  21. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

The refs today have openly cheated. Madden awarding 27 fouls against us is just brazen. By far the highest against one team this season, every week we are penalised for the least contact. What are the no-marks behind the scenes doing about it? Hee haw?

As for Nick Walsh. He’s a wee jump the dyke bar steward. That decision at Ibrox was a disgrace, he’s went over to the dark side. Not his first offence either.

Hibs would’ve beat them today. They are there for the taking. Hibs might be a good bet to do it.

  22. onenightinlisbon on

The notion that we have “turned a corner” is way off the mark. A long long way to go before anyone can say that….

  23. Standing by my initial thoughts the tackle and ref and linesman etc .

The way the tackle was made was dangerous that’s the cruix here.

As is the refs interpretation. If something was wrong it’s this .

Was it a poor tackle to yes did it deserve a yellow absolutely a red ? Maybe not but he gave the ref the chance to put him off the ref took it

Anybody saying it’s was a good tackle is wearing blinkers .

The Hibs guy has a habit of slamming into players like that he has injured himself a few times I think .

I can’t remember but he slammed James Forrest in a similar type a while back he got booked we were outraged he was not sent off this is were refs change games no doubt about it.

The games all about perception and opinions I looked at this as a football fan thought it was bad at first then maybe wreckless after a another view and definitely a yellow … But see above the Hibs manager broadly thinks the same I see .

    All about opinion !

  24. ONENIGHTINLISBON on 3RD OCTOBER 2021 6:42 PM

Think you mean ‘our’ own fans.

I stand by what I said, wouldn’t change a thing, they (sevco) the establishment club in Scotland are too far gone in debt.

Sfa, refs, press, media, society in general are the problem. Board can’t change that.

  25. I’d better stop there, turn many more corners and we’ll end up where we started

    Before we turned a corner

LOL. Sorry forgot I was kidding on I was a celtic supporter…..guilty…

I agree that they are almost untouchable but that should not stop them being called out.

  27. I think a default position of happiness after a game like todays, given what’s gone before, is probably a good way of being

I’m not sure anger is particularly healthy either for oneself or for those around you

Periods of happiness are to be cherished and, if possible, nurtured.

    It’s what we’re here for isn’t it?
