   On my morning readback and have just learned of SFTB’s passing. For me, with respect to other contributors, Tony was the star of this site. His input was informed, analytical and well-researched. He clearly was a well-read man who knew a lot about a lot and we will miss his presence immensely.

    

   Condolences to his friends and family.

   Arrived back in Aberdeen in time to watch the second half. Was about to express joy about a great 3 points in horrendous weather.

    

    

   But joy is not a word to use today. The game is irrelevant to CQN’ers.

    

    

   Absolutely shocked and deeply sad to hear the devestating news about Tony ( SFTB )

    

    

   We have lost a very genuine and honest man with an intellect second to none.

    

   Many times he clipped my wings on here with knowledge, humour and intelligence. Always polite and courteous.

    

    

   He was the best.

    

   We will never forget Tony on here and many of us learned so much from him.

    

   He tought us so much, not just in knowledge, but how to act as a decent person.

    

   He was an inspiration.

    

    

   Tony ( SFTB ) has set the standards on here. He will be a hard act to follow, possibly impossible. But we must try.

    

    

   Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
