    If we are playing with One striker in every game, and still trying to claim that we are a Celtic team, playing the Celtic way, then we are pretentious liars, getting away with cheap flea market level lies, because we’ve had zero opposition since the other Old Firm ass cheek died in 2012.

    Calling for Engels and Idah to be sold premature particularly in Engels case. He made a very significant impact last season and contributed strongly to the season. The pile on him is nuts to me when we should be backing this young guy to the hilt. The witch hunt from our own supporters is clearly effecting his confidence and the media love it – it’s a free hit for them. His crime is we paid a very significant fee for him and we need to get over that and support him to be the become the player he has the potential to become. Are we saying that a 20 year old Belgium international midfielder is not good enough to play for Celtic?

     

    Perhaps there are some mischief makers even amongst our own supporters using this as an excuse to stir up a case an against the “BR canny spot a player” nonsense. It’s certainly the case from the media but from our own support- what their excuse?

    No perhaps about it’s clear to me, anyway the manager picks the team not the pundits hecklers or board members 2 wins out of 2 great start, I think we play both edinburgh clubs before they play even one computers eh.

    Taking that capacity out of a squad which already has gaps does not make sense.

     

     

    Suggestions we offload/ditch/punt are IMHO, a little bit indulgent.

    and the VAR demoted. I can understand why the referee gave it, he’s a really poor referee and conflicted person, VAR has no excuse he has time and the benefit of different angles and slow motion to see that the Sevco player initiated contact and then dived with very minimal contact. I hope, but doubt, Dundee will kick up a stink about the decision, I won’t hold my breath.

    As much as I like Scales, he’s a warrior, I believe Pusey has been brought in to speed things up re passing forward from the back, time will tell though, por cierto.

    Not sure if we should be listed as second in the SPL table though under rule C36, should the same scenario apply at the end of the season Hearts would be champions. Which would be third time lucky for them after 1965 and 1986. Not sure said rule applies after two games though. Tant Pis. Agree with Brendan, and those on here that we need to improve the team, but no point in adding to the squad players that won’t.

     

    Got to take the positives, KT and Nygren bring something, and in Kieran’s case a player who can actually take a throw-in, and less susceptible to the cross ball to left back position. Team getting game time and as such gaining fitness and sharpness, esp. Reo, CCV injured towards the end of last season. Some loose passing though, need to work on that, given that we do need to make more and quicker forward passing, not easy into a traffic jam mind. A half decent start to the season with a Friday summer evening cup game at home to look forward to. What’s not to like about that?

    Those questioning the board for not signing Lennon Miller are forgetting one very important element in any transfer — the player has to want to come to Celtic. Evidently Miller has no interest in a move to another Scottish club and prefers to move abroad, and who can blame him?
