   Fantastic turn on the edge of the box from Commons, inch-perfect pass inside the centre-half for Stokes to take the ball round the keeper, and a cool finish from a very tight angle. Class.

    Great goal. Good work from Mulgrew, turn and inch perfect through ball from Commons, Stokes takes it past the keeper and scores from close to the byeline.

    Gooooooooal! Great pass by Commons and run by Stokes, very composed round the keeper and into the net.

     

     

    While we’re dominating areas there is an (expected) degree of incohesion. Would like to see a midfielder getting forward to help the strikers or even beyond them.

    Great goal from Stokes. Charlie and Commons linked in midfield. Threaded pass from Commons behind the defender, Stokes rounded the keeper and slotted home from a tight angle.

    Kris Commons had done nothing thens feeds a slide rule pass to Tony Stokes who supplied an outstanding finish.

     

     

    I truly believe that if Commons can get a goal to open his account we will see a run of form like last season’s and he will play a big part in the run in.
