He looked barely off, but I thought they were giving the goal, but when I came back from the kitchen the scoreline was still 2-0 for us. Didn’t hear further comment from the commentary so I thought they scoreboard was slow.

Thought we looked really solid at the back today, and no late goals

    prestonpans…,

Does the camera angle get better with that thar sky+

You’ll notice lack of replays and camera angles

When Craigan says it was just about off side you can be sure he gave them the benefit

  3. Thanks for all the update guys sounded like a good game although not our best performance by all account. You realise how good the update posts are on the site when you cannot get game.

Just after 7:15 in Scottsdale and watching the Arsenal.

    prestonpans,

When the ball is 3/4 over the line is it out ?

  5. Interesting situation at Newcastle today

Papis Cisse pulled out of Senegal squad for midweek intl with a back injury

Newcastle declared him fit for today’s game with Swansea

Senegal have today invoked FIFA 5 day ruling which prevents him playing

  6. Disciplined performance – good 2-0 result should set us up nicely for Lisbon.

Pity the Efe goal was chalked off – had him anytime scorer and Celtic win @12/1.

Off to do my match report to Mongolia!

“Who are the investors that have invested in Rangers,I mean I dont even know who they are”.”Dave king could buy Rangers himself but i don’t know why he doosn’t”

Hmmm Sherlock, might just be a story here

Here is a thought Daryll, get up off your backside and do some investigation, then report back your findings.

Have it printed up, if its interesting people might even buy the paper you print it in to read it

Or you could wait for the next Charlie green press conference, have a free sausage roll ,set your iphone to recors and churn whatever he says into a meaningless two page spread

Far better domestic performance than been seen for a while, is our away form better ?

I didnt realise footballs were the same as football players…. maybe against Benfica we could just get all 11 players to jump in the Benfica net, that would give us an 11 goal head start.

  12. Our weakness in the air is still worrying. I remember watching Celtic training in the sixties. One of the routines was heading practice.

Balls were suspended at different heights, and players had to run, jump and attack the ball with the forehead. Even wee Jimmy reached prodigious heights, as is testified by his headed goals.

I don’t know if this is still practiced.

Not sure Efe’s effort even crossed the line, big Vic made sure tho

    notthebus,

Daryl raises a wee point, if king is still under investigation by S A tax authorities, why have the UK authorities lifted his ban on purchasing in the UK ?

For me it’s simple, the UK still likes to share in the plunder its pirates bring back

  16. Very happy with the performance and result.

Delighted for Lassad on scoring his first goal for us.

    Thought young Adam was motm.

Thomson?! Another disgraceful performance from the mib!

Biggest crowd at the sheep dome in almost 4 years?!

Hope the supporters who were there behaved themselves – Ian Bankier was watching!

    HH!!

  17. One thing today does is strengthen the case for Ambrose and Wilson to play behind a 3 man midfield. Against St Mirren (5-0) and Motherwell (2-0) they had excellent games. Didn’t see today’s game but another clean sheet and plenty plaudits on here and elsewhere suggest they had another very good day at the office.

In a 4-4-2 it’s another story, but with three in the middle it works. They get more protection, and Wilson’s clearances are more likely to land at the feet of a Celtic player.

Since we lost away to St Johnstone we’ve played 3 away SPL games, going 4-3-3/4-3-1-2 in each, suggesting this may be how Neil Lennon wants to approach games played on narrower away pitches.

  18. Afternoon bhoys from a wet but thankfully hun free mountain.

Played very well today, Aberdeen were well up for it, hard to break down.

Delighted Lassad has got off the mark, took his goal well, could easilly have fluffed it, or blasted it over.

Brother Thompshun was his superb best today, I’m sure some of our players will have taken quite a few knocks today.

Tony Watt gets kicked in the head, that needs attention, and he plays on, a disgrace to his profession.

Hopefully some of our other bhoys will be back for tuesday.

    Great start to the day.

  19. Solid performance today from Celtic considering the injury list.it’s a nice lift for Tuesday.

Listening to how good sevco did…who were they playing?
