Watt and Sammy need to pull into the centre a bit more to allow Commons to go beyond them. Doesnt look as though we will score from set pieces so we need to get behind them
HT Aberdeen 0-0 Celtic
Competitive first half that we controlled for most of the time. The only chances we have created have come from high balls into the box – Lenny will be disappointed that we have failed to get anything on target though.
Midfield has been poor. Charlie, Kayal and Commons have not got into the game. Kayal in particular looks way out of his depth. It feels like we really need a goal to settle us down. Aberdeen have pressed well and stopped us moving the ball around. Lenny will have to figure out how we change the shape and get better balls forward to Tony and Sammi.
Can’t see any other result than a Celtic win
A quick goal could lead to an onslaught.
