  3. Strong team… I know there are people saying we should be looking to win every game but for the sake of Europe I think an established European team would be willing to play a weakened team before a big European tie (particularly when dropping point is highly unlikely to lose us the league).

Plus, the young bhoys deserve a chance, these few years more than ever we should be trying to bring in the youth while the eejits across town spend big on wages of journeymen.

  4. Matthews/Kayal on the right – mediocre – Mcgeouch would be better.

Mouyokolo/Ambrose at CB – 1st time, but on paper looks ok as Mouyokolo a Wilson type, so would compliment Ambrose.

Izaguirre/Mulgrew down the left – this always looks common sense, as Mulgrew is seen as back-up to Izzy’s defensive frailties, but their recent record together isn’t good, and in total they’ve accrued 22/33 pts.

Brown/Ledley – had a 100% record until the Elfsborg game. Are suited, but wasn’t Brown a doubt for today? Why isn’t he being saved for the big game on Tues?

Commons/Sammi – one game together (Elfsborg), one point, and an uninspiring showing. Then again, it wasn’t grass, so who knows?

In short, good players, but wrong assembly, if that’s how they actually line up. I predict a close result.

Thanks 4 all those that have changed their moniker so far, Not only will it raise a wee bit of cash but I intend to pull together a wee book of the names and messages to give the family strength from the support shown here.

So if you have not managed to change your name so far, and if you have a spare 5 mins, could you do it for Wee Oscar?

    Thank you

Hoops posted early, was going for podium, and watching that put me off

  7. Not Neil`s ideal team and some of the players on the bench were doubtful. Hoping it all clicks into place.

Here’s hoping that the sell out crowd see a great game – Scottish football thriving without the hucksters, who’d have thought it?
