Took us a while to dominate. Understandable, I suppose, due to many personel changes.
However, after about 30 mins we had
the measure of the Dons, although they still have a menace.
All eyes on the ref,who has a history of appeasement.

Sammi gambled on rounding the keeper and getting an award from Murray, NFL’s team selection vindicated and we are all wrong, – so far.

HT Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic
We are worth our HT lead but it has been little more than a workmanlike performance lacking any creativity. For a club of our resources it is concerning that we line up without a centre forward, and with a centre half in midfield. I read somewhere recently that we had 30+ coaches at Parkhead. You would think someone would recognise that the goalkeeper punting the ball up the park every time he gets it is not an effective tactic in modern day football.
Thankfully someone told Lenny that Ambrose was gash in midfield and he shifted Charlie in there. The result was a goal as Charlie played a great ball over the top to Sammi who did remarkably well holding off the defender and skipping round the goalie.
Playing against 10 men now the game should be over.
Marvellous cool self-contained performance from Celtic.
Doing just enough to ease past.

Slow start from us, we moved up a gear after about 20 minutes.
Usual inconsistent refereeing performance. Compare Matthews gets a soft yellow card for a valid attempt at the ball with very little aggression towards his opponent to the tackle on Samaras from behind which could’ve done some serious damage and wasn’t even given as a free kick.
No decision to make at the penalty and sending off. Textbook example.
How the linesman called Brown offside is a mystery.

Think Big Sammi could score if Adam could get some good balls over.
His delivery so far has been poor.
Big Moyokolu seems like a no nonsense type,reasonably impressed by him.
If we feed our clever players( Sammi & KC) second half there could be a few in it for us.
Ideal situation for us this half.
Play tight at back ahead of Tuesday.
Catch 10 men on the break.
Bring on subs after 60 mins.
Pack hamper and get off to airport.
