As big Gordon said our fans waited to the minute the teams came onto the park to give our display.

    Thank you.

I am especially delighted as I have seen too many adverse reactions to a European game over the years.

I also believe strongly that BR deserves our unconditional support. The man oozes class and in such a short period of time epitomises everything I want in a Celtic manager.

I do not forget what has happened with the SFA, but talk of ” cherry picking” our games or boycotting Hampdump does not do Team Celtic or BR any favours.

Others may have a different opinion, I respect that .

The journey has only begun and I am sooooooo excited and optimistic.

And thanks to our magnificent support the atmosphere came across as fantastic.

I’m sure Ronny Deila’s record was 18 wins out of 18 or something like that.

I am indeed. Fae Invercanny. My father started and ran the ’66 Club from Drumchapel.

  6. 66 in my lifetime . 1 for every year of my life.

Haven’t attended a Scottish Cup Final since 1969 . Last League Cup Final I attended was in 1971 . I haven’t watched one since then .

High teens and sunny -way down south . . Sad times – 2 people missing and assumed drowned following some truly biblical rain .

  7. I had to go out yesterday straight after the game, came back late to read through CQN and watch all the clips by the CQN legends who post the clips for us Tims scattered all over the world.

CQN at it’s very best yesterday and understandably so as I sat watching Brendan and the team celebrate the win and his speech to the fans at Celtic park, the tears were welling up and I can’t help thinking that this season the 50th anniversary of the Lions famous victory is not lost on Brendan and his coaching staff, indeed everyone at Celtic.

I have an unshakeable feeling that this is the start of something very special at Celtic.

Thank you Mr Rodgers and thank you the magnificent Celtic support, you deserve this, you deserve to have a manager who loves Celtic and is able to put a team on the park worthy of the name Celtic.

The sun is shining in the auld green valley the day, the highlights are on, the coffee is good, life just does not get any better.

  9. hi ghuys just back from a great Cup Final what a great day pushed the boat out and went for the hospitality package at Celtic park – well worth it had £5.00 @ 10/1 on 3-0 met Bobby Lennox – what a superb person – Craig Gordon with the cup could not fault the day and the timing of our display was awesome. The Sheepies was good but they went too early our timing was spot on. tired and emotional will post later. Hail Hail Hebcelt

  10. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

One thing I noticed about James Forrest yesterday, was his on field demeanor.

He used to look like a wee boy, who was trying to get a kick of the ball. alongside the bigger lads.

However, yesterday, he strode across the Hampden turf with a confidence and swagger, which befitted a player with his talent.

I don’t think it is a coincidence that he has also “muscled up”.

If Brendan can add that to his game, along with the emergence of Armstrong, then there is also a chance that GMS can benefit.

The Sevco Resolution 11; it would have allowed them to issue share capital as repayment for the soft loans given by the Board and Club 1872. The net effect was that it would dilute the shareholding of all other shareholders; specifically Mike Ashley and the Easdale block.

Now if they want to raise money from a share issue to existing shareholders they must offer them to everyone who can buy shares and keep the same % of shareholding should they so wish.

It means they cannae get rid of Ashley if he disnae want to go!

Christmas gift ideas for the match going Celtic supporter.

Oooft! Neganon disnae like me in the sightest; he gets very animated when I write or post, though I actually agreed wi’ something he said last week.

I remeberDallas telling me he was from the Drum, but he is a few years younger than me.

I recall a couple of altercations on a cold winters night near the Drumry roundabout and a few quick exits when visiting the cinema in Kilbowie Road as well! ABC I think it was?
