PS- re that Shamrock strip:
The auctioned jersey had a white collar whereas all the games played with that strip had a green collar. So either it was used as a training strip or with the reserves. It also had a number on the back and again we never played with it revealing a number.
Hope against hope tonight that the team do not embarrass us and find some belief.

In my experience, how we play is irrelevant to most fans. If we win , the general view will be that we played well. If we lose, that will usually lead to assessments of the performance as having been rubbish.
Often, the margin between victory and defeat is wafer thin.
We might not be firing on all cyclinders of late but we are nowhere near as bad as many seem to think. Actually, I am not sure if `think` is the best word there.

The defeats against Sevco, Sparta (twice) and Ross Co weren’t wafer-thin. We were well beaten.
However, some of the EL qualifiers and a few victories in the SPFL very much were wafer-thin. We’re lucky this season hasn’t been even worse – if such a thing is possible.
Well, we’re not parking the bus by the look at that team of midfielders, wingers & converted midfielders at CH.
We ain’t pressing from the front by the look of Rogic and Eddie in the team.
And we ain’t protecting the defence by the look of a 35 year old DM, years past his prime.
But it’s a free pass tonight so fill yer boots AC…..
