AEK Athens have been dealt a massive blow ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League qualifier against Celtic at Parkhead.
Influential skipper Petros Mantolos has been ruled out of the clash and didn’t even make the trip to Glasgow.
The 26-year-old midfielder missed a large chunk of last season through injury, but had returned to action before sustaining a groin problem in training.
His place in the Greek champions’ line-up is likely to be taken by Argentine Lucas Boye, who is on loan from Torino.
