AEK STAR’S WARNING TO CELTS

ALBANIAN international Astrit Ajdarevic believes Celtic will overcome Rosenborg in their Champions League second round return tie in Trondheim on Wednesday.

And the experienced 28-year-old midfielder is confident he and his AEK Athens team-mates will take care of Brendan Rodgers’ men at the third stage with the first game due in Glasgow – if there are no mistakes in Norway.

The Hoops have the advantage after the 3-1 triumph at Parkhead in midweek with goals from Odsonne Edouard (2) and Olivier Ntcham.

Ajdarevic has said the nation’s champions will dedicate victory over Celtic to the victims of the Greek wildfire disaster where at least 82 people perished.

He revealed: “Every player in the squad gave blood and we are also raising funds.

“Now we want to pay tribute by winning in the Champions League and, hopefully, beating Celtic in the next round.

“That is now our focus.”
