I’ve been critical but would anyone agree with me Boyata doing well.

Well so far so good 1-2 well we would have taken that at the start of the game.A big second half performance Bhoys. H.H.
We’ve made three chances and scored two of them. Pretty good going.
They pass and move so well and we need to work harder to match the runners. We’ve a lot of defending still to do in this match.

I’m concerned about the way they are cutting thru our midfield with little or no challenge from Brown, Bitton, Commons or especially Johansen.
We need to get a hold of the ball and find a team mate, preferably LG and JF who both look like they could beat the Ajax defense for speed.
Humble pie from me – so far so good.
I thought we would get exposed – but we seem to be exposing them.

Hard work does bring results, middies looking a bit confused at times with the new shape but with discipline and drive the game is there for us to win. It’s easy to pick on individual errors but collectively we’re doing fine.

Forrest not in the game enough. Cifcti on and push Griffiths wide left early in second half.
Bring Janko on for KC when his legs go to help cover their winger Younes – he’s their danger man. Close him out and we could win this.
Would like us to be defending a bit higher – they can play round us edge of the box.

We’re in a good position but possession is crucial here. They’ll dominate the ball but when we get it back we must keep it for more than 3 passes. They’ll leave gaps for us because-dare I say it-they are sieve like.

Think the big difference is the Midfield are limiting Ajax and Big Boyata hasn’t been under too much pressure but so far he is doing OK.

Summa
Kris Commons is one of the most effective attacking midfielders in Celtic’s history. Only Jinky and Lubo ahead of him.
Don’t want to tempt fate but I’m not seeing the sort of gulf between us and Ajax that i expected to see.
They are slick but we are dangerous too. Like to see the passing sharpen up a bit, but this game is winnable.
Great first half.
We need our midfield towin and hold the ball more in the second half.
No. Need for long balls losing possession. Feed it wide gets Jamesie more on the ball.
Well done The Bhoys, keep it going all playing well. Biggest surprise is Boyata who i thought was a dud.

Lustig vital for us, hope he lasts the 90. The Ajax left sided attacker is their best attacking option, important he is well managed.
Good natured game so far, which seems to suit us.
For me Bitton has been excellent. A very disciplined first half from all our heroes in yellow.
Just a couple of times Griffiths has been isolated up front. He’s won headers but there’s been no one there to link up with.
Good to see Forest, despite being out paced by the left back on one occasion, has been willing to go at him again.
Doing well, still a couple of players need to up there game a bit, other than that it’s fine.

Ajax have plenty left in store, Ronald De Boer really? – couldn’t lace Ronny Deila’s boots and I’d bet Deila could buy and sell him.
