I have loved my summer of football but it is great to be heading to Celtic Park on Champions League qualification duty tonight. Better still, that we took care of the tie in Armenia, so that familiar knot in the stomach we often get at this time of year will not manifest tonight.
Alashkert will want to get this game over with but for Celtic it is another step in our fitness preparation for the three greater qualification challenges that lie ahead.
During the first half, we will have an eye on how Valur are getting on against Rosenborg in Trondheim. The winners face Celtic in the next round*. The Icelanders have a 1-0 lead to defend.
We are still preseason, and therefore likely to pick up injuries, so nothing heroic, Celtic.
*caveat acknowledged.

That’s me getting ready to go pick up the two young visitors to Toronto and chauffeur them in luxury air conditioned style in my limo (my wee motor). So J. McCormick f you’re looking in, Steven and his pal will be well looked after in the Toronto #1Celtic club.

I appreciate tonights game takes priority and perhaps the following by Canalamar on E Tims has been posted here but it is important enough to draw to attention of CQN and apologies if you have seen it.
Perhaps the most interesting reply to yesterdays diary illuminates best the fact that Resolution 12, and those behind it, are not going away…
The Res12 originator (Canalamar) is currently considering the decision on whether the following organisation get the report regardless of the SFA’s result, it has always been the choice of last resort but now it is being considered a moral imperative regardless of the result, however awaiting the SFA’s result is intriguing and worth following.

They are good, bit of a turmoil just now as we are getting the cave painted, they are confused and are being pains, but it will be over soon enough and it will be back to normal, the Mrs is giving a talk the morra to a bunch of rescues, they have over 1000 coming to the rally so she will be a celeb for the night.
Post what you want, just be careful when you have had a few beers, trust me, it can come back and bite you on the erse.
