KYOGO FURUHASHI was back in training this morning to dispel suggestions he will miss the Viaplay League Cup Final at Hampden a week on Sunday.
The Japanese striker was forced to leave the field with a shoulder injury after only 14 minutes of the 5-1 Scottish Cup fifth round win over St Mirren at Parkhead on Saturday evening.
That sparked fears the Hoops’ 22-goal man could be a major doubt for the showpiece shoot-out against Michael Beale’s Ibrox side.
SIGNS ARE GOOD…Kyogo Furuhashi sits it out after hitting his goal in the 3-0 win over Livingston.
However, Kyogo was put through his paces with the rest of the Hoops first-team squad at Lennoxtown as they prepared for tomorrow’s Premiership visit of Aberdeen.
Kyogo will be keen to have a crack at the Dons – the prolific marksman has failed to score against them this season in the champions’ 2-0 win in Glasgow and 1-0 victory in the north east.
