ALL OVER FOR GRIFF

LEIGH GRIFFITHS will NEVER kick another ball for Celtic.

The 31-year-old former Scotland international striker has had his Hoops contract scrapped, according to a report in the Sunday Mail.

Griffiths is still sweating over his future on loan at Dundee who are considering terminating the temporary transfer he agreed in the summer which was originally intended to run until May 31.

However, the Dens Park hierarchy have been unimpressed by the return of two goals in 14 appearances and could now trigger a break in the contract.

Ange Postecoglou has made it clear the player, who joined in a £1.1million switch from Wolves in January 2014, should “probably look elsewhere” and there is no way back at Parkhead.

Griffiths, who has made only one appearance for the Hoops in the pre-season friendly against West Ham, is in James McPake’s squad for Tuesday night’s Premiership clash against former club Livingston.

The one-time fans’ favourite 123 goals at Celtic and won seven titles, three Scottish Cups and four League Cups.
