  1. STRINGER BELL on 27TH SEPTEMBER 2017 6:48 PM

How on earth does Packy Bonner get a job talking about football. He is utterly hopeless.

    ————————————

Listened to him on the radio on Saturday on my way back from watching the game in Elgin – another hun apologist.

  2. An old pal of mine is currently in Carnlough, County Antrim , researching his family tree.

His great grandfather and grandfather were both born there, as was Brendan of course. He tells me that he will be watching the game in Brendan’s brother’s pub tonight.

He originally hails from Ardrossan and I think both BMCUW and CCB may know him. A stalwart of the Garryowen back in the day. Lives in Large now. Jim C*****.

Narrow win tonight or a draw.

    HH!!

Anderlecht v Celtic ko 19:45. Team: (4-2-3-1) Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Tierney; Brown, Ntcham; Roberts, Rogic, Sinclair; Griffiths. Subs: De Vries, Bitton, Dembele, Armstrong, Hayes, McGregor, Forrest.

  4. Pog- it’s not even that for me, he is just rambling pest!

Anyway, on with the positives, we should score tonight, we will certainly make chances.

Nervous about tonight, they are strong up front.

  5. I caught a bit of Stephen McManus on RS last night, he is a total Old Firmist.

Good chance tonight to get 3 pts on the road but I doubt it will be easy, if we play the way we can this can be done, cmon the hoops.

  6. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

Given our record away in the CL I’ll be happy with a draw, being in

Europe after Christmas is a sign of progress for Brendan and the

    player’s.

  7. Celtic v Hibernian tickets sold out – hospitality options available

By: Newsroom Staff on 26 Sep, 2017 09:51

THE champions return to Celtic Park with Hibernian the visitors on Saturday, September 30 and tickets for the match are now SOLD OUT.

This fixture will see the Easter Road side visit Paradise for the first time since they earned their promotion back in the Premiership with a few familiar faces expected as Neil Lennon and the squad make their return to Celtic Park.

A limited number of hospitality packages remain available for the match, priced from £85 per person, and can be purchased online or by contacting the Matchday Hospitality team on 0871 226 1888* (option 4) or matchdayhospitality@celticfc.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE – hospitality packages are not available to buy from the Ticket Office at Celtic Park.

Paradise will be packed for this hotly anticipated fixture, don’t miss out!

  8. Not defending Pat Bonner but I think:

    a) all the ‘bad’ Rangers stuff happened after he finished playing – at least, as far as we know :-/, so it may not have the same impact on him or he may not comprehend the effect it has had on so many of us

    b) all the info he needs to inform his thoughts is out there…but footballers aren’t often regarded as the sharpest tools in the box. Maybe he’s not an avid reader…

I liked him as a player…not a fan of his as a pundit.

  9. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

Very attacking-looking team. Much as I like Rogic I would have liked McGregor for ball retention and getting attacks started from deeper areas.

    Anyway – c’mon Celtic!

  10. Quick shout out for Last Man Standing 9.

Email us before 7.29 and I’ll get back to you before kick off

Email us before 23.59 and you are included in the draw for 3 additional free places – we’ll get back to you tomorrow

Email us before Friday at 7pm and you’re in

    115 and counting!

Celtic will win tonight. And Boyata will score.

  11. Is Rogic a gamble?

Depends entirely how he plays :-)

Personally, I would have gone for mcgregor. Brendan knows best though…

  12. Anderlecht have played 8 games in the Jupiter League, scoring 10 and losing 10.

That does not sound like a major attacking force.

Maybe Brendan thinks Rogic is the attacking option and, if we score 1, we are likely to get, at least, a draw.

Unless Anderlecht play better than their recent form

    Big Big match for us

  13. No predictions, but….if we turn up and play as we all know we can, I’m confident of getting a positive result tonight.

    COYBIG !!!
