ANDY ROBERTSON celebrated his century of caps in Scotland’s 2-0 Nations League win in North Macedonia this evening.
At the same time the Scotland skipper notched 100, new boss Sebastien Pocognoli enjoyed his first sucess at the third time of asking.
The Belgian, who took over from Steve Clarke, had watched the side fire blanks as they drew in Slovenia last weekend and lost 3-0 to Switzerland at Hampden on Tuesday in his previous two outings.
However, that was rectified in Skopje with a goal in each half from Keiron Bowie and John McGinn (pen) while the only black spot was a late red card for Scott McKenna.
The breakthrough strike arrived in the seventh minute when Bowie produced some individual wizardry and rounded it off with a superb shot.

SMILES BETTER…Sebastian Pocognoli enjoys his first victory as Scotland manager.
The former Hibs striker who is now with Verona accepted a pass from Billy Gilmour, eased away from a defender with a sway of the hips and opened up a shooting opportunity 25 yards out.
He turned swiftly onto the ball before lashing an unstoppable drive past the sprawling keeper at his left-hand post.
Earlier centurian Robertson had seen a wicked drive pushed away by Stole Dimintrievski for a corner-kick and then the marauding left-back just missed the target with a low drive after being set up by a marvellous sweeping pass from McGinn.
Ben Gannon-Doak missed two excellent opportunies with the score at 1-0 and the Scots trying desperately to double their advantage.
The second goal did come in the 69th minute following a lengthy VAR check after Bojun Miovski handled a close-range drive from Bowie that was destined for the net.
McGinn made a splendid job with his effort from the penalty spot.
McKenna was banished in 83rd minute following a late lunge on an opponent, but the visitors held pn for a welcome three points.
The Scots bring down the curtain on the first four games of the competition against Slovenia, who lost 2-1 in Switzerland this evening, at Hampden on Tuesday.
