ANGE POSTECOGLOU has refused to rule out a move for Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic.

The 23-year-old Sweden-born Montenegro international has been linked with a move to the champions.

Haksabanovic cost the Russian club £6million when he joined from IFK Norkopping 15 months ago and is under contract until June 2026.

However, the left-sided raider who can also play through the middle is on his way out of the club that was relegated to the second tier last term.

QUESTION TIME…Ange Postecoglou delivers the answers at today’s media conference.

Haksabanovic has been training in his homeland after a loan spell with Djurgarden and is eager to move in this transfer window.

Postecoglou, who is preparing his squad for the arrival of Hearts on Sunday, said at today’s media conference: “I think we’ve been linked with a player every time I’ve done one of these.

“When and if we announce it, we’ll announce it. As I’ve said all along, we’re agile, we’re looking for the right person to bring in.

“If that right person is available and we can do a deal, then we’ll do a deal, but nothing has really changed on that front.”

The Greek-Australian gaffer, speaking to Sky Sports, continued: “Our recruiting this year has been around making our squad better and more robust, compared to last year.

ON THE MOVE…Sead Haksabanovic in action for Montenegro.

“If you look at the players we’ve brought in, that’s what they’ve added to our squad.

“So, it’s not a specific area as such, it’s more if we can get a couple of players who can play a couple of positions it will help us.”

Looking to the champions’ fourth league game of the campaign, Postecoglou added: “We’ve had solid start to the season and our performances are slowly improving.

“This is a period where we don’t have a lot of games and are able to train a bit more than we usually do.

“We’re putting a lot of work into the guys throughout the week and I think that’s helping our performances improve.”
