ARMSTRONG AIMS FOR HOOPS’ HIT PARADE BUT LET’S FORGET THAT MISS!

1
CELTIC midfielder Stuart Armstrong hopes to be on song in the run-in to the season.
The Parkhead fans have selected some of their heroes for special ditties as Brendan Rodgers’ men aim for the treble.
Flamboyant attacker Scott Sinclair and comeback central defender Dedryck Boyata have had songs dedicated to them by the team’s followers in recent months.
And CQN has been working with supporters to come up with a song for injured Aussie star Tom Rogic, and we’ve published some great (and some not so great!) suggestions so far.
Armstrong accepts he will have to do something special to have make the Hoops’ Hit Parade.
The Scotland World Cup hopeful joked: “I will have to put in some more performances and score a few more goals first and see what happens!
“I know the boys love them, they are very catchy and it’s always nice to hear good songs like that during the games.”
Armstrong missed out on a special cheer yesterday when he hit the crossbar from a yard out with the game still goalless against Hamilton Accies.
Stuart has a few contenders for Celtic’s goal of the season – like the one he scored at Hamilton on Christmas Eve, but yesterday’s effort has already guaranteed him Celtic’s miss of the season!
Someone on CQN even called it the miss of the Century!
Luckily for him, everyone was too surprised at the miss to sing SEBO, SEBO, SEBO!
Luckily, 29-goal Moussa Dembele wasn’t quite so wasteful, and yesterday he seemed to get a hat-trick of songs all to himself.
And a very special standing ovation when he was replaced to give Leigh Griffiths some game time.
