After full time on Saturday Celtic fly east to play Shakhter Karagandy in Kazakhstan, which is five hours ahead of UK time, but fortunately kick off on Tuesday is 9pm local time, 4pm in the UK, so the team will not have to adjust body clocks. Such a long flight immediately after a game is not without risk, though.
Muscles need to stretch and move freely after exertion. Players will need an exercise routine for the plane to mitigate the risk of the kind of strain injuries we see so often. Get a schedule for them to walk up and down the plane every hour.
I expect Celtic will have a scout at the Astana Arena for Friday’s game between Astana and Shakhter Karagandy but it might not be too revealing. I didn’t see much, but I was pleasantly surprised by Scotland. Well done wee Gordon.
Charlie M used the ball well a couple of times, especially on 88 minutes when Scotland should have been able to build a good attack. Jamesy had one good run, a typical Jamesy run, which was great to see. The foul from that guy Walker was very poor. Broony showed great energy and is a great battler. Well played.
Very much a cameo, but Leigh Griffiths was looking for the ball, making good runs, looked confident, fast and potentially dangerous. Well played.

Well I have to say Wee Gordon is starting to get Scotland on the right track.
They lost to England but they did not disgrace themselves and gave the nation something to smile about for long periods of the game.
Scotland given all their problems should be cuffed by England but apart from a couple of players England looked average as a team given all their hype.
Joe Hart is abysmal and how FF cannot get that jersey can only be down to English arrogance and ignorance. They need a keeper and that’s been their problem since Seaman chucked it.
Very annoyed about that tackle on James Forrest but our players wanted to play in that game and so they should be expected to give their all and get tackled. For most Scottish players playing against England at Wembley is a dream and they lived it.
I have no issues with Celtic players playing in that game for the length of time they did. I thought Charlie needed the game time anyway.
Hopefully things go on from here for Scotland.
