We have been 1 touch/pass away from a breakaway
And most importantly we look to be defending in numbers and closing the gaps between midfield and defense
So far scales, trusty and valle playing well in defence
AJ is swamped
Still a winger too heavy and could do with another midfielder just to add some balance

We’ve cut out the turnovers with men ahead of the ball and as a result, we look much more solid.
I’d like Valle and AJ to engage their wide men much quicker. They’re both moving in too close to their respective CBs and are leaving too much room out wide.
Started watching with a sort of grim resignation hoping that the Bhoys showed well….it’s not been a great 1st half bit we’re still in it.

Idah,hopeless tonight.Hold up play abysmal.Can see the trouble Maeda is causing them with his pace.Kyogo can do the same.Idah does not look fit enough for his role.Defence holding out as well as they can,but no long outball when Kasper has it.See what BR oes.
Our best chance of a goal is using Maeda’s pace on the left IMO .
We cant get out, chipped ball to Idah on hallway line is not working.

0-0 HT much improved from last game. Back 4 excellent but need to keep focus and deal with crosses.

Commentator said average amount of crosses in a game is 17, we’ve defended 28 in first half alone.
We need the long,quick outball over the top.
Kuhn and Maeda are faster than their opponents
also after last week, who wouldnt have taken 0-0 at half time

thought big idah played well for the first 20 mins, he held the ball up well
atalanta ajusted for it and idah was much deeper in the laatter part of the half
thought he has done well for what little he has seen of the ball
Much better off the ball so far. Reo’s best game of the season for me – Engels is so passive in the press and weak in the tackle though and not offering enough.
On the ball bar we need to be much better but still in with a chance at HT which is more than I expected 45 minutes ago (thumbsup)
