An awful night. The result is embarrassing ( for the fans, our board won’t give a eff) but I think we did the right thing in subbing off players early in preparation for Sunday.
Harsh red for Daizen but had he not been sent off we’d probably still have lost. Difficult to compete when you don’t have the funds. When you DO have funds and don’t improve your quality that is just criminal.

We need to sit in and go full Moyes/Allardyce, away from home,5-4-1,make it hard not easy,got to question the manager on that
After last seasons champions league campaign we knew where we needed to strengthen.
This season we never strengthened in the key positions and lost key players and never replaced them with the same quality.
So we are weaker with £72.3 million sitting in the bank.
The board are taking the piss
Still say we have the makings of a good team ,good players with pace in the forward line ,a few in midfield who looked good when they get the chance ,but in defence ok but could do with a bit of quality in there ,myself personally if I was a billionaire I would buy all off Dermot Desmond shares ,hopefully add a few young board members.

One thing in particular stood out for me tonight we lack physical power all over the park, weak defensive headers to their players losing out on tackles unable to hold onto the ball basics really .
Didn`t see the game so can`t make a meaningful comment but the posts do reveal quite a lot about various posters…..good and bad.
