  1. Happy with that, always wanted to play Betis. WHen I played footy I always had a Betis top for 5’s.

  2. Great group.

Group G is appropriate as three of the teams play in green!

Did anyone notice that UEFA have not Tuped over the dead clubs honours? They referenced Seville 03 when Celtic were drawn out but failed to reference the sacking of Manchester in 08.

I’m sure the SMSM will clarify the position for the raging Huns

  3. That’s a tough group. Opposition from two top leagues again.

We’ll hopefully have some European football after Christmas and we’ll certainly learn from playing top opponents.

  4. wee Jeremie back

    3 green stripey teams (2 V, 1 H)

    revenge on Ferencvaros?

    tough but interesting

Huns group possibly easier but you never can tell

  5. I wish Scales well but he will be a squad player at least to start. The rest is up to him. But if that useless Board have put the cheque book away in terms of serious signings, it’s a phuckin disgrace. Had it not been for a great start by AP and the players they would currently be getting the roasting of their lives.

Any bids for Christie and Eduardo would be so low now there is no point in selling……in’t that right Celtic board ???

  6. the summarising girl said after pot 3 that Celtic v Betis was a stand out tie!!

seeing some hoops back in seville would be great

  7. Not bad – this Group-Of-Green.

Interesting to see the battle between Kyogo and Frimpers.

We can qualify – tho mibby not in 1st place.

  8. Anyone know what time the Alison Arms and Heraghtys are opening on Sunday?

Ali arms usually opens at 11 but sometimes Heraghtys is 12:30, anyone know for sure?

  9. Not sure what to make of it. Could’ve been better/could’ve been worse, I guess is the overriding feeling.

West Ham got a lovely group.

I think Bayer Leverkusen will be favourites with a competitive battle for second.

Real Betis finished above last season’s winners Villareal in the league, so they won’t be easy. A step up from AZ I reckon.

Definitely showing 12.30 on websites for the opening time on Sunday, perhaps a call would clarify: 0141 737 0295

  11. Tough, but well balanced group. Home form key, and some decent results away is what we will need.

That will give us a chance of going forward.

Cheers mate, I’ll pop in for a quick one tomorrow to check it out.

you never can tell. We expected Lazio and Rennes to be harder and we also expected to beat Copenhagen.

A bit of overconfidence in the huns group could count against them as they open up too much

  14. Big Georges Fan Club - Hail, Hail, Wee Oscar on

Could finish anywhere from top to bottom in that group – Ferencvaros possibly one we would look for 4 to 6 points from. Betis really strong, as are Bayer – just signed the Dutch left-back Bakker from PSG – he’s a cracking player – we should sign him as cover for Greggs the Baker :-))

A good Euro group – some cracking games to look forward to.
