SCOTT BAIN makes his first competitive appearance of the season in this afternoon’s Betfred League Cup-tie against Partick Thistle at Firhill.
The keeper, who signed a permanent deal in the summer following his impressive loan stint, takes over from ever-present Craig Gordon against the Championship outfit.
Brendan Rodgers has shuffled the pack and Cristian Gamboa and recently re-signed Emilio Izaguirre also come into the starting line-up.
Mikey Johnston gets a slot on the right wing with James Forrest moving to a place on the subs’ bench.
