PSV Eindhoven striker Zakaria Bakkali has rejected the chance to join Celtic.
However, the 19-year-old Belgian hitkid could still move to the Hoops at the end of the season on a Bosman deal.
The Dutch outfit were prepared to accept £750,000 for the international frontman after the SPFL champions made contact last week.
However, Bakkali decided against the move in order to focus on his return from hip surgery which will keep him out until March or April.
PSV were hoping to receive transfer cash, but will still be due £200,000 in a development fee when he moves in the summer.
Ronny Deila will continue to monitor the situation of the talented teenager who can also play in both wide berths.
