CELTIC fan Barry Bannan has admitted it is a dream come true to sign for Neil Lennon.
The Scotland international midfielder has just quit Crystal Palace to go to Bolton on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Bannan didn’t hesitate to join the Championship side when Lennon came calling.
The Airdrie-born 25-year-old, who had been linked with a switch to the Hoops, said: “There were other options in the pipeline, but the manager played a big part in the move.
“As a kid growing up, I supported Celtic and he was playing for Celtic. I have always looked up to him and just the stories I had heard from players who had played under him brought my attention to wanting to come here and work under him.”
