Knowing what he knows now would Ange have made the same substitutions when he did?

The game was on Virgin 2 in Ireland last night so we got Gerry Armstrong and summariser (he does all our games).
along with Damien Delaney in the studio, he was amazed were brave enough to sub like for like.
Another point they made was that BL were very direct when they turn over possession which was very hard for us to live with – hence the need to cut out errors.
Gave us credit for being more commanding second half and felt that BL were getting frustrated. The turning point for them was the left wing sub they brought on

And would that be out of stubbornness or an inability to learn from mistakes or something else?

Probably, as usual, the most obvious answer is the most likely.

we got a Rabona and a Panenka already this week. We must be on Soccer AM ‘All About The Showboat’ on Saturday.
What will we get on Sunday? Already had a Sebo earlier in the season so it can’t be that

On reflection, last night was an important performance, even if the result was disappointing
BL are probably the best team in the competition, maybe only Napoli have a better record domestically this season when you consider the opposition, and in this competition they are much better. They beat a team 5th in La Liga 4-0 at hone a d drew with them away
The substitutes were obviously made with the weekend in mind and to provide some much needed energy up front to press them and try and get them to play the game further away from our goal. Unfortunately the difference in quality between the two squads was laid bare almost immediately. Their subs looked like they would have got into our starting 11, our led to a drop off in quality that proved decisive
Most of plus points with the first 11 on the pitch. Defensively we were far better organized. Even with Jura having his worst game by a long stretch we seemed far more secure as a team. Ange’s plans are working
An improving team who will have better strength in depth after January
I still think we’ll win the league

Good to see you as cheery as ever.
Maybe your weekly jab because the state tells you so will put you in a better space.

i am recovering from Covid despite my jags; god help me if i had got it unvaccinated when my family got it in April.
Get my booster next Tues due to be asthmatic. You don’t want to get this , it’s horrible
I’m definitely on the mend as my wife found out last night – ooeer missus
Well the world turned upside down on Superbru this week. After the Hibs midweek game, our clear winner with 6 points was Marspapa who has jumped up to 11th overall after a few better weeks recently. Just behind were ACGR, Craig 76, Chalmersbhoy, Gene, Bateen Bhoy and Hutchybhoy.
23 predictors scored exactly 0 but the Superbru logarithm seemed to pick out Angel Gabriel, Por Cierto and Park Road 67 out of this bunch to award a joint wooden spoon.
In the overall competition Call me Gerry leads by 3.5 points from Hopeful Hoops and Bateen Bhoy as we head towards the first prize winning month of December.
This week’s predictions are due in by 3pm on Saturday.

Unfortunately not everyone can be as smart and independently minded as you.
I hope you never catch Covid, but if you do will you be seeking assistance from the NHS?

My guess is he’ll have private health care.

I doubt any private health care he could afford would cover the ICU treatment needed by severe cases of Covid.
