JOHN BEATON will be the man in charge of Celtic’s Premiership encounter against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday.

The referee will be assisted by Jonathan Bell and Paul McAvinue on the wings while Matthew McDermid will be in the VAR studios.

The champions go into the game in pole position as they attempt to add to their 10 points after three wins and a draw from their first four outings as they chase their fifth successive title.

ON THE RUN…Michel-Ange Balikwisha leaves James Tavernier trailing during his debut appearance in the scoreless stalemate at Ibrox.

Brendan Rodgers’ men won their opening three games against St Mirren (1-0), Aberdeen (2-0) and Livingston (3-0) while there was a goalless draw at Ibrox.

The Hoops fans will be hoping for their first glimpse of former £20million striker Kelechi Iheanacho, the club’s UEFA deadline day signing on a free transfer from La Liga outfit Sevilla.

Belgian winger Michel-Ange Balikswisha, signed for £4.5million from Royal Antwerp, may make his second appearance after his debut in the derby while £5.2million arrival Sebastian Tounetke is in line for his first outing after helping Tunisia qualify for next summer’s World Cup Finals.
