The Belgian league put the cat amongst the waffles yesterday by declaring the Jupiler League over and Bruges champions. They sorted out their TV and other commercial arrangements and can start next season as soon as it is safe to do so.
There are very few calls to cut seasons short. Tight leagues, such as in Italy and Spain, would forever have questions hanging over them, while those assured of winning the title, as in Scotland and England, want to do so on the field, not at a league meeting. Still, it was nice to see panic among the Null and Voiders, who would rather everyone lost than anyone (Celtic) won.
The Belgians have been pragmatic but premature, football is finished for the season, their champions are assured without controversy and they will accommodate those threatened with relegation. The rest of Europe still clings to the hope that competition can start behind closed doors in the summer. It will next month before we know if this is possible, there is no reason to make decisions before then.

When the people work for the economy rather than the economy working for the people, we are one catastrophic event away from exposing the consequences of inequality and unprepared ness. The fact that the UK government can now see “free money” as their only hope of salvaging something out of this mayhem illustrates very clearly that austerity, taxation and fiscal policies for the last 10 years were political decisions driven by ideology.

In spite of her pathetic assertions that it was Americans visiting Wuhan who imported the virus ( Does any thinking person believe that nonsense ? ) , the established fact is that China is the origin and exporter of the virus.
Their attempted cover up and the arrest and detention of doctors warning about this new alarming strain proves that they knew right at the start the seriousness of the situation and their utter culpability in it`s spread.

This morning he stated we have 100 delivered
We are now testing 25000 people per day, as the buffoon Boris promised in February, including NHS staff – oh reduced to 10000 by end of March, 10k was hit on 1st April, but not front line NHS staff
Not to worry we are ramping everything up by end April
