BENALI UP FOR GRABS

CELTIC have been given the go-ahead to make a summer move for Brescia midfielder Ahmad Benali.
The Libyan has been on Ronny Deila’s radar for an entire season and will leave his club after they toppled into the third-tier  of the Italian league following their 3-2 weekend defeat to Bari.
Reports from Italy indicate English-born Benali, who began his career at Manchester City and had a brief loan stint at Rochdale, is on the verge of making the switch to the SPFL champions.
However, Palermo and Chievo are also monitoring the situation while Everton boss Roberto Martinez
has had him watched since the turn of the year.
Benali, 23, has insisted he has no intention of playing in Lega Pro after dropping out of Serie B.
Broke Brescia will not be difficult to deal with and the Hoops could land the player for a bargain £500,000.
