Celtic were idle for two weeks before Saturday but have played nine competitive games this season compared to Benfica’s three. They also have the benefit of not having to sacrifice a day’s preparation to travel.
Fitness late in the game, perhaps accentuated by the use of substitutes, could be crucial. Celtic’s best chance of winning this one will come in the second half. Run the lungs out of them, Celtic.

But since reading some of Bjorn Lomborg ‘The skeptical environmentalist’ papers, it seems that since money and funding play such a massive part in Green organisations now, somewhere along the lines the truth has disappeared now also.
I still haven’t seen anything that has made me think differently about the tar sands in Canada, but if you find anything please pass it on.

I know 4 policemen. Thankfully I believe none of them to be like that.
2 traffic; 1 armed response & another who is a top bloke doing a job I know I couldn’t do and many other police officers couldn’t do.
I do believe, like in all walks of life, there are those who abuse their positions. The police force is no different. Especially so were members of secret societies hold high office.
That said. I met a high rolling police officer today, when I was in a police station discussing a recent breakin at my home when the policeman stated to me, and I quote “if you ever come across a CQNer known as Mickbhoy1888, he was not a good decent policeman. He was excluded from the force for being violent towards civilians and the use of racist language.”
So without foundation or corroborative proof of said conversation I have just placed a question over the character of an individual. It’s amazing how easy it is.
