But there are highs as well as lows in this book and for some we were as high as a kite! Stopping the Ten, 6-2, the Larsson years, the Road to Seville – it’s all covered in great detail. The story ends with a low-key Scottish Cup win and Martin O’Neill leaving Celtic. It was the week after Black Sunday, the day Celtic broke our hearts.
The Winds of Change is also a book that you should read the LAST page before the first page – it tells you that everything that was going on in Scottish football at this time involved one club cheating. Little did we know at the time.
The Winds of Change deals with every Celtic match in that period from 1991-2005, it’s a Helter Skelter of a read!
