BERTIE AULD – ‘THESE GUYS ARE CELTIC’S 12th MAN’

CELTIC PARK will be rocking tomorrow night when Ronny Deila’s men take on Malmo in the first leg of their Champions League play-off.

The Celtic support is rallying to the call for the club’s most important encounter of the season with so much prestige – and a £15million windfall – at stake for the winners.
Unsurprisingly, tickets have been selling fast with tens of thousands of fans already having secured their place in Paradise for what is certain to be another unforgettable evening under the floodlights in the east end of Glasgow.
Ronny Deila realises a strong support is crucial for the game with a dangerous trip to Sweden still to come for the return a week tonight.
It’s an evening for Celtic to unite and join in the Ronny Roar in an all-out effort to push the Hoops all the way in their bid for success in Europe’s elite club competition.
Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld insists: “There’s nothing like Celtic Park on a big European night and I have been lucky enough to sample it many times in the past.
“I’m not sure even the most wonderful football fans in the world realise how much they mean to the club and the players. You can be having a sticky time and then you hear that chant going up and, suddenly, you find another gear with the chest swelling up with pride.
“Goodness only knows how many times I have said this in the past, but these guys are Celtic’s 12th man. They act as an inspiration to the players and they can terrify the opposition at the same time.”
The match kicks-off at 7.45pm and tickets are on sale priced from £27 for adults, £19 for concessions and £12 for under 13s and are available at the Ticket Office, on 0871 226 1888* or online at www.eticketing.co.uk/celtic where you can use our print-at-home facility, helping you avoid waiting in any queues.
