IVORY COAST winger Jocelin Ta Bi is on his way to seal a £2million move to Celtic.
The paperwork has been taken care of and only a few formalities now need to be addressed before the exciting 20-year-old prospect becomes Martin O’Neill’s first signing during his second interim period at the champions.
Ta Bi is poised to agree a four-and-a-half year deal at the Hoops to complete his switch from Israeli outfit Maccabi Netanya, as CQN first reported 10 days ago.
The wide Bhoy has been on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva recently, but admitted joining a team with the stature and history of the Parkhead club is “a big dream”.

ON THE RUN…Jocelin Ta Bi in action.
Ta Bi, speaking to the Daily Record, admitted: “Playing for a club like Celtic is a dream come true for me.
“The decision to come here and the trust I received from the club and my friends led me to progress.
“I will not forget the period I have had on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva and the love and warmth that surrounded me.
“I am going to fulfil a big dream, at a famous club and in one of the best stadiums in the world.”
Ta Bi is the Hoops’ second signing of this transfer window following Mexico international Julian Araujo who arrived at the end of last week on a short-term contract from Bournemouth.
He was flop boss Wilfried Nancy’s one and only transfer during his short and ill-starred 33 days in Glasgow where he lost six of his eight games in charge.
O’Neill has stated the title holders urgently require strengthening and has already been linked with a move for former fans’ favourite Kyogo Furuhashi.
