JOEY ‘BRIGHT SPARK’ BARTON, that fount of all knowledge, is obviously not a great believer in the old adage concerning people in glasshouses.
Despite never being at risk of crashing the Mensa ratings, the one-time kicker of a football – among other things – appears to have a view on just about any topic known to man.
His latest target is Celtic skipper Scott Brown where Big Mouth Barton has once again proved beyond the shadow of doubt, he is not fully aware of the laws of slander or libel in this land.
Presumably, this Solomon of the south did not witness the incident at Fir Park yesterday which resulted in Motherwell defender Cedric Kipre being red-carded following a skirmish with the Hoops midfielder.
However, it did not stop Confucius’ biggest fan, Barton, from the following erudite offering: “Has Scott Brown been cheating again?
”Is he the full shilling? We saw him up at Aberdeen the other week and then wearing the shades against Rangers.
“It seems to me he is a little bit short. He doesn’t look the full ticket to me.”
