Re my earlier post on Clydebank and the related bombing of Dresden — The raids on Dresden on 13th and 14th February 1945 is and was one of the most barbaric acts I have ever heard of.
*I spent most of my first 10 years over here working for a German company, one oul yin talked about walking across Germany and the ground beneath him shaking with the incessant bombing at Dresden. I told my FIL who spent most of the war in various POW camps who retorted “talk tae him about Coventry”. Don’t suppose he knew much about Clydebank.

#Celtic confirm the first two qualifying rounds for next season’s UEFA Champions League will be played at Murrayfield.
That’s a quick stroll over the golf course and a few pints in my local The Roseburn. CL qualifier works for me.
The new tram stop is directly over the road from Murrayfield Stadium so I might suggest the park-and-ride at Ingliston or the Airport for those travelling from the west by road or by air.
